Rust-resistant assemblies let you install 2 roller bunks on your boat trailer. Swivel brackets enable bunks to tilt when loading a boat. Mounting slots allow for height adjustment. Dimpled surfaces keep brackets from sliding along the trailer frame.

Features:

    • Each bolster bracket installs on your boat trailer's frame with a single U-bolt (sold separately)
  • Strong swivel brackets let you tilt the roller bunks
    • Helps you to fit the boat hull snugly onto trailer during the loading process
    • Hardware is included for attaching the swivel brackets to the bolster brackets
  • 11-Gauge, galvanized steel resists rust and corrosion
    • Suitable for saltwater exposure
  • Made in the USA

Specs:

  • Quantity: 4 bracket assemblies
  • Overall height: 11"
  • Dimensions of bolster bracket: 10" tall x 2-1/2" wide
    • Mounting slot dimensions: 3-3/4" long x 1/2" wide
    • Spacing between mounting slots: 1/2"
  • Dimensions of swivel bracket: 1-1/4" long x 1-3/4" wide x 2" tall
    • Top flange mounting hole diameter: 7/16"

Bolster-and-swivel-bracket assemblies are typically mounted upright on a boat trailer's crossmembers. They allow a mounted roller bunk, which runs from the front of the trailer to the back, to tilt to accommodate and support boat hulls of different sizes.

Galvanized Steel

Steel parts are galvanized by being hot-dipped in zinc after they have been stamped. This creates a coating that is typically 3 mil to 5 mil thick. This thick, all-around coating allows galvanized steel products to provide years of use without rusting or corroding.

Great solution. I used these to attach two 3” pvc bunks to my trailer. They work perfectly. I made some slight adjustments after the first month.

by:

Good quality. No way of knowing how it will last, but looks like it will.

by:

Have not done anything yet but everything looks like it work just great

by:

Right design and length for replacing my rusted out bunker brackets.

by:

Got exactly what I ordered and timely. Apprciated the video for installment and understanding of the product.

by:

Typical good quality CE Smith product. Installation was easy on these bunk supports. Highly recommended versus value or non-name branded trailer supplies. The quality is worth the couple of extra bucks.

by:

Completely updated the axle, suspension, and added roller bunks to my waverunner trailer. Have taken the waverunner in for the winter and back out for the summer one time. All components were great and the trailer rides really well!

by:

Cant believe it didnt come with nuts n bolts!

It does come with the hardware to attach the swivel bracket to the bolster bracket. Are you missing this hardware?

by:

I was a little taken back because I thought this would come with all nuts and bolts I needed. When I bought the roller bunks they did not state at the time the brackets were not part of it. That was ok so I ordered the brackets and now I have to go find nuts and bolts to fasten the bunks

by:

Well constructed product and worked perfectly for mounting the roller bunks!

by:

I RECIVED MY ROLLER BUNKS AND BRACKETS FAST. WELL PLEASED WITH THE QUALTY OF THE PRODUCT.CANT WATE TO INSTALL THEM AND TRY THEY OUT.THANKS FOR THE FAST DELIVERY.

by:

Everything worked perfectly. However offering the U bolts and a bolt kit at a good price would be nice in order to save a separate trip to the hardware store

by:

Great products, great price and fast delivery. I have recommended etrailer to several friends.

by:

Excellent transaction…. Product (just wish it came with the mounting bolts/nuts), price, shipping

  • What Rollers Would You Recommend For My Ramp For Loading Kayaks
When designing your new kayak ramp I recommend The Yates Keel Roller for Boat Trailers - TPR - 10" Long - 5/8" Shaft - Blue # YR1000B. They're 10 inches long and fit a 5/8 inch shaft. They're constructed from a thermal-plasticized rubber. It is non-marking, and non-scratching material. They're made in the USA. If you're not wanting to design one yourself I recommend going with The CE Smith Roller Bunks for Boat Trailers - 6 Rollers Each - 5 foot Long - 1,500 pounds - 1 Pair # CE27710....

  • How Would Roller Bunks Install on Karavan Boat Trailer
Since the picture you submitted belongs to Karavan I can't post it here on our site, but if you check out the attached picture you can see how a very similar trailer had a set of rollers like the part # CE27710 installed. For a set of swivel brackets like what you see in the picture that are holding the bunks you'd then want the part # CE10003G-4. I also attached a couple install video links for you to check out as well.

  • Roller Bunks For Shorelander Boat Trailer And Lund Fury 1600 Aluminum Boat
You have a couple of options for rollers on your Shorelander trailer. If you want to completely cover the 7 foot bunks you currently have, you can attach a 4 ft roller like part # CE27700, and cut another to cover the 7 ft board. If you do mount the roller bunks to the boards you currently have you will want to make sure your rollers for the bow are adjusted at the proper height to offer support for the boat when loaded. I have attached a link to our boat trailer parts. Another option...

  • Recommendation For Adding Bunks or Rollers to a Calkins Boat Trailer for a 21' Boat
As far as size is concerned, you want the bunks/rollers to be at least half the length of your boat. Whether bunks or rollers are the better option really comes down to your use. If you take your boat on and off of the trailer quite a bit, then going with rollers would be a good choice. The boat will smoothly roll over the bunks which is easier and less taxing on the hull of the boat. Given the size of your boat you would need to use 3 of each product below: - CE Smith Roller Bunks for...

  • Recommended Bunk Roller Setup For A 5,000lb Boat
Hey Dan, The roller bunks that we offer max out at 3,000lbs per pair so the only way to make this work would be to install a second set of roller bunks to help distribute the weight between both sets of the # DL21741. You'll most likely need to pick up some extra mounting brackets # CE10003G-4 to secure the second set and possibly move the first set to better distribute the weight across all rollers.

  • Does it Matter Which Side of the Crossmember the Boat Bunk Brackets Install On
It doesn't really matter which side of the crossmember of the trailer frame the bunk brackets install on. As long as they are torqued down properly either way will be perfectly safe. Since the brackets have swivels like # CE10003G-4 there would be no need to cut the boards at a different angle.

  • Parts Needed to Convert a Boat Trailer From Bunk Boards to Roller Bunks for a 21' Boat
Each pair of Boat Trailer Deluxe Roller Bunks # DL21740 have a 2,500 lb. capacity. Your bigger consideration will be the length because with needing multiple pairs of rollers, you will have enough weight capacity. Typically you will want to match the length of your current bunks with the news ones. But a good rule of thumb is to have at least 50% of the length of your boat. I have included enough bunk rollers and parts needed for that below. Bunk Rollers - Boat Trailer Deluxe Roller Bunks...

  • Roller Bunk Recommendation for a Boat Trailer with Wood Bunks
The CE Smith Roller Bunks, # CE27700, that you referenced would be a great option for your boat trailer. These roller bunks are 4 ft long and they can be mounted directly on top of your current wood bunks. You can also use the CE Smith Mounting Brackets, # CE10003G-4, if you want to replace the wood bunks with the roller bunks. Keep in mind, these bunks have a weight capacity of 1,500 lbs, but based on your photo, I do not think you will have much of an issue with that.

The lag screws are something you'd have to pick up at your hardware store, and that's the route I'd go since it's just easier overall (and just as safe) than removing your current bunks.
