After a long drive to the campground, the last thing you feel like doing is maneuvering your RV into a tight campsite space - especially in the dark! This wireless backup camera system gives you peace of mind that you'll be able to back up more safely, even at nighttime or in other low-light conditions.

View Multiple Cameras at Once

Depending on your camera setup, this system allows you to add up to 4 cameras (additional wireless camera sold separately). And you can view all camera angles simultaneously with the touch screen as you're driving down the highway.

Or if you're set up at a campsite for the weekend, the motion sensors on the cameras will automatically power the monitor on if they sense movement in the form of a prowling animal or person.

Easily Communicate from Outside Your RV

Tired of yelling back and forth to your partner out the window as you're struggling to back in at a good angle? The built-in microphone on the camera and integrated speakers on the monitor allow a spotter to relay information or instructions to you from outside your vehicle. This makes it much easier and safer for you to back up in a crowded campground.

Avoid Collisions While Backing Up

No more wondering if you're getting too close to another vehicle, tree, curb, or your kid's bike while backing up. The rear assist marker lines take out the guesswork to avoid collisions and safely maneuver your RV. The lines are displayed in 3 different colors (green, yellow, and red) to help gauge the proximity of objects within your view.

Furrion RV Backup Camera Infrared LEDs

And because this camera has 8 infrared LEDs, you'll have a clear picture even in low-light conditions at dusk or in complete darkness at night. These LEDs provide ample illumination up to 16' should you arrive at the campsite after dark and need to back up into your parking spot. And during the day, the integrated IR cut filter blocks out the infrared light during the day so you'll still be able to have crips, natural-looking images.

Withstand Multiple Climates and Environments

If it's raining out, or if you just simply need to wash your RV, the waterproof, IP65-rated camera will be protected against low-pressure water jet sprays. And if you're driving through rough country roads, the camera will resist dust and dirt from building up or getting inside.

Installs Onto Your Dashboard and RV Rear

Furrion RV Backup Camera Monitor Mounts

This camera system includes 2 different mounting options for the monitor, depending on how you want to display it. You can either use the suction cup to stick it onto your dashboard or windshield. Or you can attach the tabletop mount so the monitor sits on your dashboard, and the 4 non-slip pads will help prevent it from shifting around. To power the monitor, simply plug it into a 12-volt light or cigarette lighter outlet.

Furrion RV Rear Marker Light Camera Installation

Because this system is wireless, installation is much easier than it would be with a wired system, as you'll only need to do minimal drilling and wiring. Just bolt the camera down with the included mounting screws and connect to your RV's wiring system. Be sure that the camera won't interfere with any slide outs or other moving components. If you intend to use this system only for backing up, wire the camera to the reverse lights. If you prefer to use it to keep an eye on your rig on the highway, wire the camera to the running lights.

After one year of use with the Furrion Camera I am completely convinced it is the best add on we have put on our camper. It is really useful driving down the road. Also, good for seeing how close you are to an object when backing in.

It is still the best purchase we have made for our camper. The level of safety and peace of mind it gives us driving down the highway is worth every penny.

Installed on GD Imagine '22 2600RB and '15 Chevy 1500 Silverado double cab LTZ. Took about 15 min to install with pre-wired prep kit on RV. Got 5" monitor to keep from being too big on dash/windshield. Monitor is on windshield with suction mount right below rear view mirror and works great even with antenna folded down, very easy to pop off and put in console when not in use. You can also just rest monitor in the console next to power plugs, etc. Did not get the side cameras due to other reviews that they aren't really necessary, definitely agree not needed. The rear view however is a must-have if backing anywhere without a spotter. I can back out of my neighborhood driveway with somewhat limited sight and see everything in both directions Based on many internet reviews of other camera systems, glad I went with this: it was super easy to install and provides the basic purpose of backing up safely. I have no need to record or watch it continuously while driving, although it seems to work just fine while driving and not cut in/out as other reviewers have described after a couple hour round trip. Maybe higher definition systems out there with better features, but this unit has great quality and vision is very acceptable for the purpose it was designed, to assist in backing up. Simple, easy install, great value, just works!

Had this a year and used multiple times. Still works as previously described. One time while driving, the screen froze for a couple seconds but quickly re-established connection. Not sure why you would need this on continuously while driving if you’ve got decent side mirrors. With the wide angle of view and pointing more downward to see entire rear of RV you don’t see very far behind rhe RV, maybe 25+ ft? It’s kind of like a rear view mirror, just not as long of view. Again, my purpose is mainly to use for backing up. Having the power connected to running lights can be awkward if backing up in day light, have to switch lights on to power the camera, but not a huge deal and it works. Great, no frills product that does what it’s designed to do.

@Scott Good deal, we're glad your Furrion camera system is still on the job!

I bought this camera system to use on our new travel trailer to help with traveling down the roads, in heavy traffic and for backing trailer in.
It was extremely easy to install because all the hookups we already on the trailer. We take the screen out of truck when not using it. It is very clear and does not loose connection to camera that is 45 feet to back of our trailer.
I would definitely recommend this product.

by:

While the advertising for a promotion of two extra cameras were on the site, When I applied, it said it wasn't eligible. WARNING, do not buy if you are expecting to get two sidelight cameras. Camera came with packing only on top. USPS can be rough so normal procedure is packing on bottom and top. camera itself works. It is a hassle in the F-150 to run the power all the way back to the rear seat area to get a cigarette lighter power. I'm sure the USB's are just not enough power.

by:

Very easy to install. Works like a charm. I thought it would be weird seeing behind me with the monitor but the monitor is on the dash and imitates a rear view mirror. I love it.
ETrailer comes through again!

We have been through a full season + of camping and I love having the camera! I remove the antenna before putting on the winter cover and put it back on in the spring to keep it from breaking off. Great purchase. Trailer is a great place to get items and have good support as well.

by:

Seem to be a great system so far but will take a long trip soon for a better evaluation. Installation was as easy as it gets because my travel trailer was prewired for a Furrion camera system. My only complaint so far is with the factory instructions being a little light on the pairing operation. I was getting extremely frustrated when my camera would not pair with the screen. I had power to the trailer but the blue light would not stay on for pairing. I finally started reviewing YouTube videos and trailer videos. I am not sure where I found it but the final solution was simple. So, 1) ensure the 7-way connector is connected to the tow vehicle, 2) ensure you haven't disconnected the trailer battery, 3) ensure your camera screen is plugged in, 4) actually start the tow vehicle and finally 5) turn on your parking lights. Why the parking lights have to be on I will never know because it is NEVER mentioned in the manual. If I turned them off, the camera lost pairing. Yes, parking lights are safer on the road but failing to pair if they are off just seems silly to me. Color screen has good clarity and remote microphone works pretty good.Depending on your priorities, you will have to adjust the camera angle to your liking but it's easy.

It has been one year with the Furrion. Overall, its not a bad system. Night view is good enough. Wish I could pair my trucks backup camera with the Furrion screen. Backing into the sun obviously makes ANY brand camera useless. Only three gripes. 1 Still think it is silly to have to run parking lights in order for camera to function. 2 Occasionally when backing up and I apply my brakes, the screen will shut off. It resumes immediately after motion is detected which is annoying. 3 The wide angle camera lens is great for about 20-30 yards but any object beyond that is too small to see on the screen.

by:

Awesome !!! Installation was plug and play great view of the lanes behind the trailer

by:

The unit is adequate for the price, and it displays a clear view of everything behind our RV. NOTE: The unit will only work when the truck lights are on. Automatic truck light settings will not allow the camera to display. Overall, a great buy.

by:

Easy to install, But the trailer was prewired for the camera. The setup was also pretty easy but you needed to be hooked to the trailer with your lights on. The directions were a little vague on that but otherwise not a bad unit.

The Furrion system is working great after a year. The only thing I would say is I wish I would have bought the 7 screen. It is hard to see mounted to the windshield in bright sunlight.

Just keep in mind, if you are wanting to upgrade to the 7 inch model, you should order the whole kit, part # FR98NR. With the bigger screen, it requires the bigger mount. You can easily access those dimension details on the product page of part # FR98NR.

by:

Overall it's good and I would recommend. The screen isn't the easiest to see, and the image freezes on occasion. Fairly easy to install. Does not fit my 2022 Keystone Fusion Impact 359 5th Wheel Toy Hauler. I need to remove the antennae to open and close the awning.

Absolutely love it. It’s like have extra eyes 45 feet behind you.

by:

1 year later. This past year we finished visiting all 50 states. Driving a truck camper with our backup camera. Excellent purchase, could not have driven as much as we have without it!

by:

Drop-in install with prewired RV. Note- you need your running lights on to power the camera at least in our case. Great picture and excellent follow-up from trailer!

by:

I'm happy with the backup camera...works very well.

by:

I have put 13,000 miles on the trailer since installing the camera and it works great. I use it for traveling and watching the traffic around me. It has never lost connectivity but it is a short trailer (20') Don't use it much for backing up but I didn't buy it for that. You can easily tell when to move over safely after passing, you learn to give it a little extra room because the camera is wide angle. Works well at night also. I have the bigger screen and i put it and a dash cam under the mirror and it fits.

The camera works great, never losses connection to the moniter

by:

Very nice, useful product for my trailer while I'm towing. Now it's possible to see behind our trailer as my mirrors are inadequate. Display could be brighter, though

by:

Product arrived on time and installation was a breeze!

by:

I really like the camera...when it works. It seems to have a signal problem.

I have gotten in contact with the manufacturer and they informed me that the monitor can display up to 492ft; however, the image will only display within 50ft. The best way to describe it, is by saying the monitor and cameras can only be 50ft max from one another. Can you please confirm the distance that you have the monitor and camera from each other?

by:

We did need an adapter for the truck plug in to get this to work. Something about newer pick ups needing the adapter. Otherwise it works great

Jenny N.

7/12/2023

Some newer trucks will need this adapter, part # FR87PR to help keep constant power for the Furrion Vision S RV observation camera systems to work correctly.

by:

Easy installation and immediately connected with no drama. I installed this on an ALCOM inline snowombile/tow hauler (18x7.5 with a 5' V) and it has zero lag with a clear picture. The trailer itself was not pre-wired, but it was simple to tie into a marker light. Makes it much easier to back a the trailer with no other help, and it is also nice to see cars behind you when traveling down the road. This was recommended by etrailer for me and it is a perfect solution.

by:

Our camera failed at 11 months so still under warranty which etrailer honored. They got a replacement out quickly

by:

Easy to install and remove and after 1 full year of Colorado sun, no noticeable damage.

by:

First camera delivered very quickly but would not turn on. After contacting etrailer a replacement sent along with an ups tag to return. Second camera arrived and worked perfectly after getting a 7 prong adapter due to my Chevy suburban needing a little more power to the plug in. Great customer support.

by:

Easy connect to 5th wheel trailer do to pre wiring of power supply.

by:

This works excellent !! it's a must have ....
