Whether you're towing a trailer or taking a long trip with your family in your RV, the last thing you want to worry about is a tire blowout. If your tires aren't inflated properly, or if they have a slow leak you're not aware of, you run the risk of having your trip derailed.
A tire pressure monitoring system gives you peace of mind when you're towing or traveling. The PressurePro FX 4 monitors the pressure and temperature levels of the tires on your RV, 5th wheel, boat trailer, or towed car. The system uses sensors that easily thread onto your tires' valve stems. When a tire sensor detects an anomaly, it will immediately alert you of the issue.
Most TPMS systems require you to install a separate monitor, which clutters up the inside of your cab with another piece of equipment. The PressurePro FX 4 lets you conveniently track your tires with the device you already have with you: your smartphone. The free PressurePro app - available on both iOS and Android devices - is easy to customize, giving you complete control over this TPMS system.
Installation is easy and straightforward. Unlike many TPMS systems that need to be connected directly to your vehicle's battery for power, the Pulse FX box, which mounts inside the cab of your vehicle with the included hook-and-loop mounting pads, simply plugs into your vehicle's 12V power outlet. The included dipole antenna mounts to your windshield (or anywhere else in your cab) with hook-and-loop pads to help boost the wireless signal.
Setting up the PressurePro app is simple. Once you've downloaded the app to your smartphone, you'll be able to pair it with the Pulse FX device.
From there, select your vehicle type and how many wheels you want to monitor. If you need to monitor more than 2 wheels, you can purchase extra sensors separately.
To connect each tire to the PressurePro app, simply tap the tire on the diagram that you want to set up, and then install a sensor on the corresponding tire's valve stem, replacing your existing valve stem cap. Once each sensor is installed, press "Save" to connect the sensors to the app and start getting pressure and temperature readings for each tire.
The app also lets you program different towing setups. Give each of your rigs a unique name with unique settings, making it easy to switch back and forth between different vehicles or trailers. This makes the PressurePro FX ideal for people who own multiple trailers. You can monitor your boat trailer when you head to the lake for the weekend and then monitor your landscaping trailer when you go back to work the following week.
With the PressurePro app, there are 5 different real-time alerts designed to warn you about potential problems with your tires. You can set the alerts to be received as push notifications, so you don't have to leave the app open during your entire trip. You can also customize the parameters for each alert to your liking:
For each alert, you can program the sensitivity of the sensors to determine when you'd like to receive notifications. For instance, you can program the app to alert you if your vehicle's tire pressure drops 10 percent or more below the baseline pressure that you set. If 10 percent is too low, you can move it up to 15 percent or 20 percent.
Or you can set up a Cross Axle alert. This notifies you if there's a significant discrepancy between the tire pressure readings on each axle, which can cause uneven wear on your tires.
You can also receive a notification if one of your tires reaches a temperature of 180 F. Or bump it up to 200 F if you're driving through the desert.
In addition to receiving detailed notifications on your phone, the Pulse FX box will blink red whenever there's a potential issue, alerting you to check your device.

Use your smartphone to monitor the tire conditions on your RV or towable with this TPMS. Customizable app sends you real-time alerts about your tire pressure and temperature levels. Waterproof tire sensors are well-suited for boat trailers.I wish I could give it more stars, I really do. But I just cant. I must be close to needing a repeater because quite often it freezes and/or resets. Often, when I am trying to change lanes, I look at the monitor only to find it frozen and have to rely on my mirrors and distance judgement alone. I really wanted the camera for help here.
I bought the Furrion camera because my camper was pre-wired for it. But I spoke with another person who had the same camper and bought another brand that fit the pre-wired Furrion mount. He said he had much better reception. I wish I could remember what brand he said he bought. But if I ever feel the need to spend the money to replace it, I will definitely research other brands.
After driving an Rv and cars with pressure sensors for years, this was a must have on my Airstream. Easy to install and setup on both the trailer and smart phone. I wish it had a 12v plug adapter. I had to buy one to hook it up to power in my Tahoe. I highly recommend this option for your rv or trailer.
I’ve been a customer of PressurePro for many years. The two different PP displays I’ve had experience with have been to me ‘just ok’. Kind of clunky may be a better term. The new FX system however is a huge upgrade. The install was simple and straightforward. I love that my iPhone becomes the display. All the tire pressures and temperature seem to be way more accurate. What a huge improvement. I haven’t taken a trip with the new FX system installed but I’ll be interested to see if this new system illuminates those pesky dropped signals.
Work great and provide accurate information! However, initial pairing was difficult and there is no way to shut down nor remove the batteries from the sensors for winter storage.
Product was awkward to use. Hardware was inconvenient and unsightly. Soft ware interface with phone was not user friendly. I no longer use the product. Device was a waste of my money.
We're very happy with the Pressure Pro FX TPMS. We run sensors on both truck and trailer. We've been able to adjust them for use both on and off road (when aired down).
Great trusted professional grade produc t.
I'm ditching my 2017 Eezgo TPMS 816 system for this. This is AMAZING. FAR easier assignement/pairing of sensors, much clearer and easy-to reqad interface. And it's on a device I already have mounted, no second screen and mount needed! I started out with the four sensors and I just bought 10 more for two trailers!
Easy install and setup. My only concern is the power socket that plugs into the 12v socket (lighter plug) is long and takes very little effort to be dislodged thus losing power to the system. Installed in a 2018 Silverado 1500 to tow a 2021 5th wheel camper.
installation and setup was super easy. pressures and temps from my 36 ft. fifth wheel came up easily.
Item looks to be as advertised.

Great sensors! A little funky to set up initially but work great! I had a blowout yup Chinese tires - long gone now! last summer and lost 1 sensor. The company replaced it no charge. My only complaint is once activated you cannot turn them off nor replace the batteries.
