Whether you're towing a trailer or taking a long trip with your family in your RV, the last thing you want to worry about is a tire blowout. If your tires aren't inflated properly, or if they have a slow leak you're not aware of, you run the risk of having your trip derailed.

A tire pressure monitoring system gives you peace of mind when you're towing or traveling. The PressurePro FX 4 monitors the pressure and temperature levels of the tires on your RV, 5th wheel, boat trailer, or towed car. The system uses sensors that easily thread onto your tires' valve stems. When a tire sensor detects an anomaly, it will immediately alert you of the issue.

Monitor Your Tires with Your Smartphone

Most TPMS systems require you to install a separate monitor, which clutters up the inside of your cab with another piece of equipment. The PressurePro FX 4 lets you conveniently track your tires with the device you already have with you: your smartphone. The free PressurePro app - available on both iOS and Android devices - is easy to customize, giving you complete control over this TPMS system.

Installation and Setup

Installation is easy and straightforward. Unlike many TPMS systems that need to be connected directly to your vehicle's battery for power, the Pulse FX box, which mounts inside the cab of your vehicle with the included hook-and-loop mounting pads, simply plugs into your vehicle's 12V power outlet. The included dipole antenna mounts to your windshield (or anywhere else in your cab) with hook-and-loop pads to help boost the wireless signal.

PressurePro App Pair Device PressurePro App Success Screen

Setting up the PressurePro app is simple. Once you've downloaded the app to your smartphone, you'll be able to pair it with the Pulse FX device.

PressurePro App Select Vehicle Type PressurePro App Select Axles

From there, select your vehicle type and how many wheels you want to monitor. If you need to monitor more than 2 wheels, you can purchase extra sensors separately.

PressurePro App Program Mode PressurePro App Tire Readings

To connect each tire to the PressurePro app, simply tap the tire on the diagram that you want to set up, and then install a sensor on the corresponding tire's valve stem, replacing your existing valve stem cap. Once each sensor is installed, press "Save" to connect the sensors to the app and start getting pressure and temperature readings for each tire.

The app also lets you program different towing setups. Give each of your rigs a unique name with unique settings, making it easy to switch back and forth between different vehicles or trailers. This makes the PressurePro FX ideal for people who own multiple trailers. You can monitor your boat trailer when you head to the lake for the weekend and then monitor your landscaping trailer when you go back to work the following week.

Customize Your Notifications

With the PressurePro app, there are 5 different real-time alerts designed to warn you about potential problems with your tires. You can set the alerts to be received as push notifications, so you don't have to leave the app open during your entire trip. You can also customize the parameters for each alert to your liking:

  • Extreme and Slight Under Pressure: 10 percent to 40 percent
  • Extreme Over Pressure: 10 percent to 40 percent
  • Cross Axle: 5 percent to 30 percent
  • High Temperature: 150 F to 212 F
  • Lost Signal: 10 minutes to 60 minutes

For each alert, you can program the sensitivity of the sensors to determine when you'd like to receive notifications. For instance, you can program the app to alert you if your vehicle's tire pressure drops 10 percent or more below the baseline pressure that you set. If 10 percent is too low, you can move it up to 15 percent or 20 percent.

Or you can set up a Cross Axle alert. This notifies you if there's a significant discrepancy between the tire pressure readings on each axle, which can cause uneven wear on your tires.

You can also receive a notification if one of your tires reaches a temperature of 180 F. Or bump it up to 200 F if you're driving through the desert.

In addition to receiving detailed notifications on your phone, the Pulse FX box will blink red whenever there's a potential issue, alerting you to check your device.

I wish I could give it more stars, I really do. But I just cant. I must be close to needing a repeater because quite often it freezes and/or resets. Often, when I am trying to change lanes, I look at the monitor only to find it frozen and have to rely on my mirrors and distance judgement alone. I really wanted the camera for help here.

I bought the Furrion camera because my camper was pre-wired for it. But I spoke with another person who had the same camper and bought another brand that fit the pre-wired Furrion mount. He said he had much better reception. I wish I could remember what brand he said he bought. But if I ever feel the need to spend the money to replace it, I will definitely research other brands.

After driving an Rv and cars with pressure sensors for years, this was a must have on my Airstream. Easy to install and setup on both the trailer and smart phone. I wish it had a 12v plug adapter. I had to buy one to hook it up to power in my Tahoe. I highly recommend this option for your rv or trailer.

I’ve been a customer of PressurePro for many years. The two different PP displays I’ve had experience with have been to me ‘just ok’. Kind of clunky may be a better term. The new FX system however is a huge upgrade. The install was simple and straightforward. I love that my iPhone becomes the display. All the tire pressures and temperature seem to be way more accurate. What a huge improvement. I haven’t taken a trip with the new FX system installed but I’ll be interested to see if this new system illuminates those pesky dropped signals.

Work great and provide accurate information! However, initial pairing was difficult and there is no way to shut down nor remove the batteries from the sensors for winter storage.

Great sensors! A little funky to set up initially but work great! I had a blowout yup Chinese tires - long gone now! last summer and lost 1 sensor. The company replaced it no charge. My only complaint is once activated you cannot turn them off nor replace the batteries.

by:

Product was awkward to use. Hardware was inconvenient and unsightly. Soft ware interface with phone was not user friendly. I no longer use the product. Device was a waste of my money.

by:

We're very happy with the Pressure Pro FX TPMS. We run sensors on both truck and trailer. We've been able to adjust them for use both on and off road (when aired down).

by:

Great trusted professional grade produc t.

by:

I'm ditching my 2017 Eezgo TPMS 816 system for this. This is AMAZING. FAR easier assignement/pairing of sensors, much clearer and easy-to reqad interface. And it's on a device I already have mounted, no second screen and mount needed! I started out with the four sensors and I just bought 10 more for two trailers!

by:

Easy install and setup. My only concern is the power socket that plugs into the 12v socket (lighter plug) is long and takes very little effort to be dislodged thus losing power to the system. Installed in a 2018 Silverado 1500 to tow a 2021 5th wheel camper.

by:

installation and setup was super easy. pressures and temps from my 36 ft. fifth wheel came up easily.

by:

Item looks to be as advertised.

  • Do I Need Cell Phone Service for the PressurePro FX for RV to Operate
The PressurePro FX 4 # 372FX4K communicates with your phone via Bluetooth technology, so whether or not you've got cell phone service you'll still be able to monitor your tire pressure with this system. I've linked a short review video of this system for you to have a look at.

  • Is Voyager VOM43HDCL1B Wireless Camera Compatible With TPMS
Unfortunately, the Voyager # VOM43HDCL1B camera system you'd asked about doesn't have the provision for adding a TPMS system, but we DO offer a solution that's more like what you're looking for. You might be interested in a TPMS system that uses a smart phone as the monitor/control unit like the PressurePro # 372FX4K. This won't work with the camera system you have, but assuming you already have a smart phone, the system won't add an additional piece of equipment in the vehicle cab. The...

  • Can PressurePro FX 4 Be Used with 14 Sensors/Wheels
If you needed to view 14 total tires between your truck and trailer you certainly could with the part # 372FX4K. This comes with 4 sensors and to add more you'd need the part # 3722SEN which is a pair of sensors. You'd need to order a total quantity of these of 5 of this part number.

  • PressurePro FX 4 TPMS for RVs and Trailers # 372FX4K be Used with Rubber Valve Stems
We've spoken with PressurePro in the past about what types of valve stems can be used with their kits like the part # 372FX4K that you mentioned and they told us that the only kind of valve stem that CAN'T be used is the longer style ones. So rubber valve stems would work great.

  • Powering PressurePro FX 4 TPMS with Vehicle with Only USB Power Sources
I checked and your 2021 Ram 1500 does not have a cigarette lighter style power port so to use the PressurePro FX 4 TPMS for RVs and Trailers - Smartphone Display # 372FX4K you'd need to source a USB to cigarette light power adapter which are pretty easy to find elsewhere online as we do not carry them.

  • Will Switching 5.30-12 Bias Ply Tires for Radials Help Prevent Blowouts
A 5.30-12 Load Range C tire has a load capacity of 1045 lbs each or 2090 lbs per axle which is more than sufficient for a trailer/boat combination that weighs 1850 lbs. Excessive heat build up is the number one cause of premature tire wear and failure. Exceeding the weight capacity, not correctly inflating the tires and exceeding the tires speed rating can all cause the temperatures of a tire to spike to unsafe levels. First, I'd recommend you confirm the fully loaded and ready to tow...

  • Would PressurePro FX 4 TPMS for RVs and Trailers - Smartphone Display 372FX4K Work on Travel Trailer
Yes the PressurePro FX 4 TPMS for RVs and Trailers - Smartphone Display # 372FX4K that you referenced would work great installed on a travel trailer that has 4 wheels. That's exactly what they intended this kit to be used on so it would work well for you. I attached a review video that shows it installed on a motorhome but it would overall be the same thing if it was a trailer instead.

  • Troubleshooting A PressurePro TPMS Sensor That Isn't Reading Pressure
Since you swapped out the PressurePro FX 4 TPMS for RVs and Trailers # 372FX4K sensor with another and still got an error with just that one wheel you most likely just have a bad valve core and it's not allowing air to pass through to the sensor for it to properly read the pressure. I recommend first replacing the valve core and if that doesn't solve the issue then fully replace the valve stem.

  • Would There Be Significant Benefit From Going With A Wider Rim?
That is a good question. There really is not any significant benefit from increasing the width of the rim. Especially from a safety standpoint, you are still using the same ST215 tires, so going to a slightly wider wheel is not going to have any noteworthy benefits. The tire you are using is the important part, and you are absolutely right that going to a larger, higher rated tire will increase tire safety margins. The highest rated 215/75-14 tire we offer is the Provider # TTWTRTM2157514D....

The PressurePro FX 4 TPMS for RVs and Trailers # 372FX4K will work with your old sensors since they are the same. I don't have the exact reason, but we have a note that the 2SEN JR Products Pressure FX Pro Sensor Kit was discontinued by the manufacturer so you can't replace or add extra at this time. We don't have any information on the actual PressurePro being discontinued.
