Video Transcript for Wheel Masters Tire Inflation and Repair - Pressure Gauges - WM8216 Review

Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the Wheel Master's analog tire pressure gauge for trucks, trailers, and RVs. Now this analog gauge will accurately measure air pressure in your truck, trailer, and RV tires, has a nice, easy, large, easy-to-read dial. Over here on the side is a pressure release button that will allow you to quickly release the air. What's nice about it is when you stay on the valve stem, it will let you reduce, if you have too much air in your tires, if you keep that connected you can push it to reduce the pressure to what you need. It has a nice, shock-resistant construction. It's an all-metal design. If you noticed, I took it out, it includes this nice case here, that will protect the gauge.

Snap shut, protect it from any damage if you store it in your glove compartment or your toolbox.A few specs on this. This will register from 10 psi up to 160 psi. Just to show you how to use it, if you take your valve cap off your valve stem, make sure it's zeroed out, just push it on, pull it off, and it will give you your reading. Again, I had mentioned that if you hold it on there, you can actually even push that to reduce it to what it needs to be. That should do it for the review on the Wheel Master's analog tire pressure gauge for trucks, trailers, and RVs..

Haven't had a real chance to use the tire gage but it looks professional and is well packaged for toolbox, etc., protection. Took longer to arrive than it should have. Made quite the circuit before being delivered. I would still purchase items from "etrailer.com" again.

Works as described and when tire pressure checked with a second gauge they matched. Like that it comes with a case so that face of gauge does not get scratched while in storage.

Gauge gets used regularly on the truck and trailer and works like new. I did put a small piece of paper towel in the case so it doesnt vibrate while in the truck door.

  • Recommended Tire Pressure Monitoring System For Single Axle Trailer
A tire pressure monitoring system like the TireMinder Tire Pressure Monitoring System for Brass Valve Stems - 4 Transmitters - Signal Booster # TPMS-APP-4 is great for trailers, however it does not work with water. It will work great for your dry travel with tires up to 80 psi, but submerging in water will ruin the transmitters that screw onto the valve stems. The nice thing about having a system like this with a single axle trailer is you will have a couple extras transmitters for another...

  • Wear on Boat Trailer Tires After Changing Tires to Higher Load Rating
Theoretically, the C Range tires would last longer than the B Range tires, but there are so many factors that play into trailer tire wear that it is impossible to say how much longer they should last. Some of the things that play into tire wear are overloading the tire's weight capacity, not keeping the tires inflated to the recommended psi, and not observing the tire's speed rating. Your tires should have their weight capacity and recommended psi stamped on the tire wall. If your tires...
