Overall seems like will work for me, but the box had been opened before (black fingerprints all over the unit). This is more a Ventline issue than etrailer issue as it came packaged in the original box. Also, they more clearly mark that there are no screws or other mounting equipment unless you buy the add on package.

by:

Awesome very fast delivery, thank you will definitely shop again.

by:

1. It was easy to order with the Zach's help.
2. It got here quickly
3. Everything came together and all parts were there. (It would have been easier if the knob came unattached )
4. Working great as a ventilation fan.

What can I say? After many days of searching, I finally found exactly what I needed at etrailers.com. Not only is it a great product from Ventline, but no one can beat the price or delivery time. I needed a roof vent with 110V which is hard to find. Found it at etrailer.com at a very low price. I also ordered a range hood for my kitchen in the camper and it just fits perfect and looks really good and I can hear myself cooking....LOL. My old range hood was an old Jenson and it had to be replaced. I highly recommend etrailer.com as they carry many great products at very good prices. I will shop again when I need to replace or upgrade something in my camper. Thanks etrailer.com for the great products.

Hi Robert,Im replacing my AC unit and would like to have a vent with a fan that blows air INTO our RV. As the old A/C hole has 110v wiring I would like to find a fan that uses 110v so I can use the existing wiring to power. Does the fan you bought from etrailer pull air OUT of RV or does it blow it in? I know that this fan is not reversible so I just need to know what direction it works. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Robert

Kelly....Those roof vents are made to blow out not in. But I am no vent expert, but for some reason I am thinking that if you can make the fan fit backwards and should work. I know that I have taken a bathroom exhaust fan in a house and reversed it put it in backwards it worked for what I needed for. Also try searching the internet for RV fans, NOT exhaust fans. Good luck!!!

Hi Robert, It is crazy how hard it is to find a 110 volt fan for a trailer! I noticed this fan has a very small fan in the corner compared to a 12v fan which takes up the entire space. Does this little fan do a good job of pulling out the heat? Thanks!Karissa

by:

Product was as expected except for the bent corner in shipping.

by:

Excellent product.

by:

I bought this fan to replace my AC unit which I damaged going through a car wash which had too low of a ceiling. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise though because the AC unit hung down too far inside the trailer, causing me to be cautious to avoid banging my head. The fan unit fit excellent and came with nice trim. The fan made use of the AC wiring so now all is well. The fan was a good choice and makes for a smoother roof top on my trailer. I use it for dry camping and don't need AC anyway.

by:

vent and fan unit is good. i added the vent hood covet for protection and to trailer with vent open and love it! seperate purchase looks like a mini roof air conditioner.
i installed into an enclosed trailer so only sheet metal thickness which meant the inner flange would not be used no matter how it was trimmed.
mounting kits available online had sheet metal screws and urethane caulk.
i do not use those and opted for pan head stainlesss steel screws, flat washers for both sides and lock nuts and a good urethane caulk. 3m marine grade is best but hard to get and long cure time for best stuff. i would not do just any silicone but do the best you can get and look at weather to have the time for cure. for example the best caulk is 3m 5200 is marine grade below water line but takes 7 days to cure. i

Communication was top notch top notch. Actually felt like they cared about their customer!

by:

We love this bought 2 for our large food trailer
They have made a huge difference getting the ceiling heat out and making it more comfortable for us!

I have question?
Do you sell a replacement dome?
Unfortunatly we lost one today
Please let me know

Thank you

You mentioned that you were looking for a replacement dome. We do have several available. If it is for a roof vent that is the same as part # V2128SP-01 then the dome cover is part # BVD0449-A01.

by:

Roof vent/fan arrived with no damage and as promised. Installed it tnis afternoon after cutting the hole in the roof...wife not excited about that! Installation was straight forward (13 1/2" square, folks, not 14") and easy to wire up and works like a dream. Wife now excited about that!! Had some issues with the website when I tried to order but a phone call to etrailer fixed that up right away quick and in a hurry! The folks bent over backwards to help this ol' technology challenged swabby get the correct item to fill my need and ordered. Impressed with etrailer the product and their prices. Thank you. And I will be back

by:

The fan itself works well though it is a little loud. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the frame is flimsy and the screen is very easy to damage. Other than that, I’m pleased with both of my fans.

by:

We have ordered four RV / trailer vents from ETRAILER, and three have arrived damaged. One was packed at ETRAILER in this condition, the others probably were damaged in transit by the carrier. Then the wrong replacement part was shipped. Staff have been very polite and helpful but their shipping department could use some improvements.

by:

The roof vent was perfect for my application! It works great!

Product is still holding up nicely even through severe weather!

by:

Functions as it should and was not a difficult install. Inexpensively made and did arrive damaged from shipping.

by:

Ordered 110 volt roof fan to put in my enclosed trailer and they where only one that sold this type fan everybody else where 12 volt .They told me the fan would be delivered by certain day and was every thing came just as ordered on time. Would buy from them again.

by:

Just what we needed to fix our broken v ent.

by:

I purchased a Ventline rv vents and fan 120v, installed and works great.

by:

Arrived in good time. It was shipped out soon after ordering. The unit was in perfect shape upon un packing. It is just what I needed for my project. Very happy with seller. Thakyou

by:

Fast shipping. Installed it the next day, hit the button and it ran great, also I couldn't beat the price. I have a concession trailer so I bought this to pull out some of the heat.

by:

the trim is to thin for the thickness of the top of my mobol home

by:

Excellent product. Installed in a food truck to remove heat from flattop grill. Removes heat as intended and helps keep temperature inside at a tolerable level.

by:

I went to 4 RV/mobile home dealers in Lake county Florida and none of them had even one of these in stock. I was glad that you had this available to order.

by:

The product was great, but the customer service was OUTSTANDING. Other sites selling similar products have very poor websites, misleading product descriptions and terrible customer service. etrailer.com has it right!

by:

We just received it today. It is in good condition and came very quickly. I will not get a chance to try it out until we build our Teardrop to put it in. But it is what we were looking for.

  • Options for replacing a 30 year old Ventline bathroom fan in RV
I have a solution for you, but unfortunately I was not able to cross reference part number I87999 on the old Ventline motor, and my Ventline contact did not have any luck either. Due to this, and due to the fact that your fan is almost 30 years old, I would recommend just replacing the entire vent assembly at this point. For this, I would go with Ventline Roof Vent w/ 110V Fan - Manual Lift - 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" White # V2128SP-01 if your RV is still using AC power for the fan motor. If...
