It’s been one year (1/4/23) since I purchased and installed these products on my 1994 Airstream Trailer. The complete kit was more than adequate for my job given that the trailer had a few other areas requiring attention or needing the self-leveling sealer. I waited for the ideal conditions (weather, temperature, and time of day) before applying the parts and sealing a few other external components. We’ve had several rain events and temperature swings and these products have held up very well. The trailer serves more as an office now which increases the importance for not having leaks!

This was a great choice to select these projects and particularly, from this vendor. They were very responsive and quick to get the order out.

Thanks to George and his Team!
Happy New Year 2024

by:

Simple replacement and it has held up well. I plan to to add a vent cover over the top so I can left this open in the Summer and not worry about the rain.

by:

The product seems extremely flimsy and poor quality. One corner of the metal frame was badly bent and wrinkled . It was not shipping damage as there was no damage to the carton . The damage have been obvious to the person who packed it.

The hatch material is very thin and weak and I expect will be broke. With the first hail stone.

Oh man, that looks awful! We definitely should have caught that one before it went out the door. Lets get you a replacement one as soon as possible. I will email you the return information.

by:

I found my purchase to be a great experience in all ways! The product was received quickly, in good condition and was just what I expected. High quality, easy installation, good follow up by a customer oriented staff... so I bought more!

by:

This was EXACTLY what we needed. Great product, easy install and great quality. Thank you because buying online has not been easy and this was?? Thanks again, Taylor
Ps, pics are out with the old and in with the new. We have a 1965 Shasta.

@Taylor Ventline makes a nice product. We're glad the # V2092SP-25 trailer roof vent is working well for you!

by:

Nice inexpensive solution for a 40 year old trailer.

by:

The vent went in very easily. took about 70 min. to remove old damaged one and replace with this vent. however I reused my old interior trim. this product came with 1 7/8 INCH trim. Needed 5+ inch deep Trim. thus the three star rating

You can switch out the ceiling garnish for a taller one like with part # VA0445-37 which is 5.31 inches tall. It can be trimmed down if it is too tall.

by:

Worked well fit well.

by:

I have not actively used this much, as it's still sitting in my driveway, but I can tell you it survived 8 inches of snow for a week without damage!

by:

Quality product, actually better than the one I was replacing, fast delivery. I would recommend purchasing the self leaveling caucking

by:

Nice product.

by:

Perfect! Thank you.

by:

Wasn't too bad to install. Everything worked as stated. I may have gone a little crazy with the self leveling sealant, but that's me.

by:

I was expecting a larger trim, probably should have read the description better.

by:

Perfect replacement for the original equipment. Pretty easy to install. Hopefully it will hold up to the next hail storm.

by:

Perfect replacement. Easy installation.

by:

Cover looks like it is good, it came smashed in the corner of the plastic top, I was able to push it back up but it left stress marks around it now. I have to install it because I am going on a trip and need the vent hole covered

by:

This is a quality product and easy to install. Only thing better than the product was the customer service.

by:

I have received all my orders with no problems. Thanks!

by:

Got my vent today as you said I would. No damages. It is exactly what I ordered and needed. Thanks alot folks. Ill be ordering again on the future.

by:

great product thanks

I have purchased these product previously and never had any problems with either. Thanks

by:

nice unit worked good.

by:

This vent fit my need perfectly to replace a damaged, rusty and irreparable one in my 50 year old newly purchased camper. Etrailer.com was easy to find and order and they were very prompt with my order. The vent was easy to install and once I sealed it according to their instructions and with additional roof work being completed I have no more roof leaks! I also have a good looking, easy to use vent for my camper. I will be doing more business with this company in the future as I tackle other repairs on my camper. Thanks etrailer.com!

by:

This was an exact match with my existing, but badly hail-damaged roof vents. Even the pre-drilled screw holes on the exterior flange perfectly matched the existing screw holes in the roof. The old vents were solidly caulked and sealed to the metal roof, so removal was a bear! Lacquer Thinner worked great to remove all traces of the old sealing tape from the roof. On the bathroom vent, I found that the interior trim piece vertical flange was too long and wouldn't seal against the ceiling, possibly due to some variation on how the ceiling/roof was constructed. I used a sanding disc, then a very sharp razor knife to remove about 3/8" of material to finish the installation.

  • Replacement Options For Roof Vent On Heartland Road Warrior Fifth Wheel Trailer
We offer a couple of options for you Heartland Road Warrior vents. We do carry the replacement vent covers for Hengs vents. If you want to just replace the cover you would order part # 69284. This is the only replacement cover that uses a 3-point hinge that we carrry. If you wish to replace the entire vent assembly we have some options you can check out. Based on your picture I do not believe you measured wrong and that you do have a 13"x13" roof vent, which is uncommon but with the age of your trailer not unheard of. You could install the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent - Manual - 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" - White - Birch Trim # V2092SP-25 you referenced but will most likely need to trim the opening a bit to get it to fit, or any other vent for that matter.
