Options for replacing a 30 year old Ventline bathroom fan in RV
Question:
Hello, I have a Ventline bath fan appx 30 years old and now need a new motor. The olny numbers or labels I can find on it is this number on the motor itself. I87999. Is this something you can cross reference and let me know if you carry something that can fit? Please let me know Thanks

I have a solution for you, but unfortunately I was not able to cross reference part number I87999 on the old Ventline motor, and my Ventline contact did not have any luck either. Due to this, and due to the fact that your fan is almost 30 years old, I would recommend just replacing the entire vent assembly at this point.
For this, I would go with Ventline Roof Vent w/ 110V Fan - Manual Lift - 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" White # V2128SP-01 if your RV is still using AC power for the fan motor. If your RV is using DC power, like most modern RVs, then I would go with Ventline E-Z Lift Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan White # V3094-601-00. Both of these vents are the standard 14" by 14" style; I would measure yours just to be sure you don't have a strange size that would require modification to the roof.
