This roof vent's powered, 12-volt fan and dome lift provide the ultimate in convenience for ventilating motor homes and enclosed trailers. Fan and wedge-shaped, plastic vent cover are operated from a remote wall switch.

Notes:
- Screws and sealer are not included. See Installation Kit (344270KITW), which includes all necessary screws and sealer to install vent.
- Not for use above tubs, showers or range cooking surfaces.
Installation Instructions
- Mark desired location for vent. Be sure to choose a location between roof joists.
- Cut a 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" opening through roof and ceiling. (Or use existing opening if you're replacing a standard 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" vent.)
- Apply sealant to bottom of flange. Be sure to surround each screw hole.
- Insert vent through hole with screen frame extending through roof cavity and hinge of vent toward the front of the vehicle.
- Mount to roof with #8 screws.
- Remove screen frame and wiring compartment cover to make electrical connections.
- Connect to 12-volt DC power source.
- Replace screen frame and cover.
- Attach interior garnish piece (sold separately) with #8 screws.

Operates as described but when closed lifts slightly (flutters) in windy conditions. I’m concerned it might leak when it rains but haven’t been in those conditions yet.

I received the product today. Customer service to this point has been excellent. It will be about a week before trailer repair folks will be here to install, however, I did open and inspect the product. It was not protected in the box and is wedged into the box. I pray it will not be damaged.

Ordered a new power ceiling vent that hooks to old switches, etc. Product is great, needed a little tech help with the install, called them and immediately got the help we needed.
Hard to have better service or a better product.

The shipping was faster than I expected. No instructions or hardware came with the unit. There was no suggestion for which inside bezel, or flashing I would need. Your etrailer on line video’s are very good however! Fortunately I was replacing a similar vent, the screws from the old one worked well. The inside trim fit after a small modification, and looked fine after some cleaning. The vent functions perfectly and I expect it will last a long time.

This is the cheesiest thing. No instructions. No hardware. And the plastic surround looks upside down, the hollow part shows out. The plastic is as thin as paper. I paid more for what I thought would be Quality. I guess I got screwed.

There is actually no instructions or hardware included with the roof vent. If you need hardware, that kit is the Roof Vent Installation Kit - Sealant, Butyl Tape, Screws - White Part # 344270KITW. Installation instructions are available on the product page.

I will have our customer service team reach out to you. This vent does not come with installation hardware. You would need part # 344270KITW to complete installation. The lid is intended to be a wedge-shaped dome that is made of a durable polypropylene plastic.
