Today we're going to review the Replacement Screen for Ventline, Ventadome Trailer Roof Vents, part number BVD0434-31. We're working with the birch white color today. This is also available in polar white as part number BVD0434-41. With this part number, this is what you get, an entire replacement screen with the plastic frame around it, already bonded to it. It also has an opening here for your panel for your opener for the vented cell. This doesn't require any fasteners to install, it uses the holes in here to work with the snaps that are pre-installed on your vent.
This is a metal screen, not a cloth screen, so this should last a very long time. Let's go ahead and cover installing it. Pretty simple, you may not have to remove the knob here, but I'm just going to do that to get it out of our way. Then we just need to pop off the screen. It may help to use a small screwdriver in the little tabs here, push them back so you can pull up on it. You may or may not have to do that.
I think since this is a relatively new installation we're working with, an older one is probably a little bit stiffer. Just be careful if you give a general push with a screwdriver. We'll take our new one, we'll just line up the tabs to the slots and just push it all together, pretty simple. Then you go ahead and reinstall your knob. Within a few moments, your vent is completely repaired and back in service. That will finish it for part number BVD0434-31, the Replacement Screen for Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vents..

The only reason I gave it 3 stars was that the packaging was TERRIBLE. The box was literally falling apart and the screen was bent but luckily I could bend it back. The sides were open enough to see inside. They cut a box up and made a box to send it in, not sure why they did it this way. The items worked perfectly so no complaints there, I am just lucky the stuff didn't fall out. I took a picture and will attach it. I love the product, the customer service, the instructions... everything except the packaging. Let me know if the pic came through, can't view it on my end.
Delivery was great and screen arrived in excellent condition. Fit on my exhaust fan was better than the the on it came with. Very happy with this purchase and have put etrailer in my contact list. Thank You!

The product itself seems fine. However, it was shrink-wrapped in such a way as to keep it bent through the entire shipment process, so that when we unwrapped it, it would not flatten, and when we tried to insert it onto the frame, the screen kept curving up and hitting the fan. Packaging and shipping fail.

I was pleased that this product fit my existing vent so well. It was installed in a matter of minutes and is a perfect fit. For some reason our coach came without one of the screen necessary to keep small bugs out when the vent was open. Though this screen fits well, there is still a small gap in the hole for the crank (up and down). I will use some screen materaial to go around the crank shaft.

These were a perfect fit to replace my rusted vent screens from salty air! They were packaged well and arrived unharmed. Tracking was simple and I knew just when they would arrive.
