Average Customer Rating:  4.8 out of 5 stars   (89 Customer Reviews)

Added (welded) to our diesel pusher Motorhome and have no issues and really no worries while towing whatever we feel we need while camping.

by:

This hitch was exactly what was needed for my landscaping customer's small dump body truck. It replaced the original custom hitch with only minor modifications to accommodate the cargo body. I have done considerable work for this customer over many years. No issues reported with this job. All good!! Thanks to Curt and etrailer for great products and stellar service. —

by:

The hitch eeceiver I bought is perfect for my RV. What I was even more impressed with was the updates etrailer.com sent as my order processed and shipped. Each step of the way I was updated by employees who accompanied the update with their photos. Very personalized experience. Thank you etrailers.com!

Curt Class V receiver received complete and as advertised. Now, to get it installed by welder/ installer on '03 Newmar Dutch Star.

by:

Worked great for my custom application. Placed behind my custom bumper as a hidden hitch.

by:

Well made hitch, very adjustable, and easy to install. No problems towing my 30' cabin cruiser with my new-to-me Semi-tractor. Exactly what I was looking for.

by:

Package arrived on time-there was a good deal of dust in the package but that doesn’t hurt anything-the hitch and pieces are heavy duty.

by:

Excellent product, just what I needed for a modified flatbed installation

by:

Solid and sturdy

by:

very fast service , and talked to a representative that pointed me to what i needed thanks

by:

The product was as described and worked fine.

It’s beefy and solid. The mounting bracket square holes had to be cut in a smidge and he added two more support bars.. but all in all. My welder said it would tow 11-12 k. Not the 16k I was told. But hey. I’m okay with that. There was a shipping issue which forced me to reschedule a few things, that is the only reason I gave 4 stars. Otherwise I am supper happy with how it turned out.

by:

It is very well built and the powder coating is very tough, took a good grinding to get it off for the welds. Good price as well. I used it for my 2006 Bounder 35E, not because it was a high rate hitch, as I did not need one, but this was the only one that would lower the hitch to a more normal height from the ground. The old hitch was so high a 10" deep was not enough to use a trailer parallel to the ground. Now I can hook up a lot easier and not worry about scraping. Looks good too.

by:

Great quality product from Curt . Can be easy installation depending on the application.. mine more difficult because of aluminum alloy frame, so will have to do some reinforcing.

by:

attached this hitch to my 1984 American General 5 ton military truck. Had to do some modification to air lines and drill a few holes but it is perfect for pulling civilian trailers with the M 813.

by:

I put this on my 03 Freightliner Columbia. It does everything I want it to. It is bolted and welded.
I like it so much that a bought another one and put it on my old school bus. That one is just bolted on.

by:

Perfect fit on my 2009 blue bird

by:

Very happy with this hitch. The size of the end plates matched the frame on our old truck and with the class V weight rating, our old truck can do a few other things around the farm now. Thank you.

  • Option For Heavy-Duty Hitch on Motorhome
Since there isn't a custom-fit option for your motorhome, the only possible option for a heavy-duty hitch would be a universal, weld-on type. There are three options from Curt for frames that measure up to 44 inches (from outside to outside), with the only difference being the drop they provide (the distance from the bottom of the frame to the top of the receiver - 3" Drop: Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch # 15901 - 9" Drop: Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch # C47CR - 18" Drop:...

  • Recommendation for Class 5 Hitch to Fit 1995 Ford F350 with 34 Inch Frame and Flat Dump Bed
Based on the size of your frame, it sounds as though your 1995 Ford F350 is the Cab and Chassis style. Curt offers a Class IV Receiver Hitch, # C14082, that with bolt directly to your vehicle's frame with no welding required. This hitch has a 1000 pound tongue weight capacity and 10000 pound towing capacity. We do not offer a custom Class V hitch for your truck but universal Class V hitch receivers are available. • Availability of Trailer Hitch for 2017 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 With 30-3/8 Inch Frame Width
There are two primary reasons why a hitch isn't available for the narrow framed Sprinter 3500 models. First, the vehicles aren't super-common, the wider framed vehicle is much more prevalent. Secondly, most of these vehicles are used as commercial vehicles that have been equipped by aftermarket upfitter companies that commonly add utility or service bodies or steps such as your vehicle is equipped with. It'd be difficult for the hitch manufacturers to develop a hitch because the way the...

  • Class 5 Trailer Hitch Receiver for Frame Measurement of 33-1/2 Inches
There are a number of options for Class V trailer hitch receivers that are weld-on options and fit a frame width of 33-1/2 inches, it just depends on what is best for your application in terms of drop (there isn't anything custom fit for your Isuzu, hence a weld-on hitch being the only option). - Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch with Brackets # C99CR This hitch will fit that frame distance and produces a drop of 18 inches from the frame of your Isuzu. - Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on...

  • Hitch Recommendation for a 2022 Ram 5000 Cab/Chassis
While we do have some great universal-fit options for your 2022 Ram 5500 4x4 cab/chassis, we do not carry any custom-fit options. With that being said, the best option is a weld-on hitch like the Class V Universal Weld-on Receiver Hitch and Brackets with 3" Drop # 15901 or the Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch w/ Brackets - 2" Receiver # 15903. The # 15901 comes with a 3" drop if you need lowered height and comes with brackets that adjust for frames between 18" to 44" wide. The # 15901...

  • Recommended Flat Towing Parts for a 2016 Jeep Wrangler
You shouldn't need to add anything to your RV. It looks like the 2018 Winnebago Vista came with a 2" hitch rated for 5,000 lbs and a 7-way connector. The 7-Way connector is what you will plug the wiring coming from your Jeep into. Your Winnebago has hydraulic brakes so you won't need to mess with air lines. I am not sure what list you are going off of but here's another one with the Roadmaster parts I recommend using to flat tow your 2016 Jeep Wrangler: Tow Bar and Safety Chains - Roadmaster...

For your truck, you'd need a multi fit hitch for heavy duty trucks as none of our vendors offer a custom made fit. In order to choose the correct one, you'll need to know the needed drop, height difference between the rear bumper and the underside of the Tommy Lift. The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver 75129 should fit with any OEM parts but just to be used I went out to the warehouse and measured the hitch. From the back of the crossmember tube to the center of the first bolt hole is 1". The distance between the inside of both mounting ears is 30-1/4". This hitch should sit directly under your frame rails so you can use that 1" measurement to see if the tube will run into interference with your gas tank shield. If this doesn't work then...

  • Heavy Duty 1,000 lb Hitch Receiver for Class A Motorhome
Yes! What you need is a heavy duty receiver hitch welded onto your trailer to get that heavy weight capacity. I recommend the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Receiver # 41990-07. It is a Class V hitch, but also has the 2" hitch receiver that is popular for hitch accessories like bike racks and cargo carriers. The hitch with the 7 inch drop you are talking about is the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Receiver - Weld On - Class V - 2" # 41990-07. The reason this has a 7" drop is because it is a universal weld on hitch designed for heavy-duty and commercial vehicles. The brackets also have a 16" drop option, it is going to depend on the vehicle and what you need since it is a universal design. This will allow you to have the receiver hidden behind the license plate on your roll pan which you will be able to remove and install with the Bracket # 5443 depending on if you are towing or not. I have a solution for you but there are no custom fit hitches for the narrow 30 3/8 inch frame 2011 Mercedes Benz Sprinter 3500 Dually models. They weren't as widely produced and some have a service body or step bumper which obstructs where a hitch would be mounted. If your Sprinter has a step bumper you will need to remove it. Both of these hitches are semi-universal so they'll fit a range of frames, both have a 2" receiver opening, and are both assembled in the USA.
