I put this on my 03 Freightliner Columbia. It does everything I want it to. It is bolted and welded.
I like it so much that a bought another one and put it on my old school bus. That one is just bolted on.

by:

It’s beefy and solid. The mounting bracket square holes had to be cut in a smidge and he added two more support bars.. but all in all. My welder said it would tow 11-12 k. Not the 16k I was told. But hey. I’m okay with that. There was a shipping issue which forced me to reschedule a few things, that is the only reason I gave 4 stars. Otherwise I am supper happy with how it turned out.

by:

It is very well built and the powder coating is very tough, took a good grinding to get it off for the welds. Good price as well. I used it for my 2006 Bounder 35E, not because it was a high rate hitch, as I did not need one, but this was the only one that would lower the hitch to a more normal height from the ground. The old hitch was so high a 10" deep was not enough to use a trailer parallel to the ground. Now I can hook up a lot easier and not worry about scraping. Looks good too.

by:

Great quality product from Curt . Can be easy installation depending on the application.. mine more difficult because of aluminum alloy frame, so will have to do some reinforcing.

by:

attached this hitch to my 1984 American General 5 ton military truck. Had to do some modification to air lines and drill a few holes but it is perfect for pulling civilian trailers with the M 813.

by:

Perfect fit on my 2009 blue bird

by:

Added (welded) to our diesel pusher Motorhome and have no issues and really no worries while towing whatever we feel we need while camping.

by:

Fast shipping

by:

Well, I really respect the fact that they waited for one year before asking for a review, they offer a 2 inch and a 2 1/2 inch receiver the 2 1/2 inch receiver would obviously be a larger rectangle to accommodate a half an inch, the vertical uprights I received had holes pre-cut to accommodate a 2 1/2 inch receiver I ordered a 2 inch receiver, needless to say, there was an abundance of slop, half inch gaps, requiring a lot of fabrication on either side of the vertical uprights, knowing this now, going with the 2 1/2 receiver should have saved a ton of unnecessary fabrication time.

by:

Very happy with this hitch. The size of the end plates matched the frame on our old truck and with the class V weight rating, our old truck can do a few other things around the farm now. Thank you.

by:

I think you guys should send me some ap parel!

by:

Exactly what we wanted. Worked perfect on our recent, extended trip to Alaska and back.

by:

Solid as stone!!

by:

I welded this up on my 2004 GMC converted school bus, it worked great with minimal bumper notching

by:

Great product. Fast delivery

by:

Brent was amazing with his attention to detail. He made sure I received the correct hitch and a follow up on my delivery. Thanks again

by:

Was able to position the hitch where I wanted on a chassis cab and it works great.

by:

Works great!

by:

it was nice product to buy put it was to small had to return it and i order a bigger one thanks etrailer

by:

This hitch was exactly what was needed for my landscaping customer's small dump body truck. It replaced the original custom hitch with only minor modifications to accommodate the cargo body. I have done considerable work for this customer over many years. No issues reported with this job. All good!! Thanks to Curt and etrailer for great products and stellar service. —

by:

Great product. Super faster shipping. Excellent customer service

by:

I called to ask what was the inside dimension of the big square and it was said to be 4 1/2" square, that wasn't even close, it was 3 5/8" square.
But I was lucky I needed 3 1/4 square. I'm modifying this to fit my fisher plow bracket so I have a front hitch to use around the yard. Nobody makes one. I own a machine shop so by getting this saves me a lot of work. So by receiving the wrong info I rating you less than EXCELLENT

by:

Heavy duty, wished it would put itself on my motorhome.

by:

The hitch eeceiver I bought is perfect for my RV. What I was even more impressed with was the updates etrailer.com sent as my order processed and shipped. Each step of the way I was updated by employees who accompanied the update with their photos. Very personalized experience. Thank you etrailers.com!

Package arrived on time-there was a good deal of dust in the package but that doesn’t hurt anything-the hitch and pieces are heavy duty.

  • Trailer Hitch Option For 2015 Freightliner Cascadia 125
Since there isn't going to be a custom-fit hitch for your 2015 Freightliner Cascadia 125, what you'll need is a weld-on application. This will work so long as the frame of your truck is between 18 inches and 62 inches wide. There are a couple of options, depending on the drop you need: - 18 Inch Drop: Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch - 2-1/2" Receiver # C59CR - 9 Inch Drop: Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch - 2-1/2" Receiver # C97CR

  • Compatible Hitch Fit for Ranch Hand Legend Aftermarket Bumper on 2009 Chevy Silverado 2500
The hitches we offer for your vehicle are designed for use with the factory bumper, but we do have options that might work for you. The deepest drop custom hitch we offer for that truck is the B&W # BWHDRH25187 which has a 6-1/2 inch drop. The drop is the vertical distance between the underside of the frame member and the underside of the bumper. If this distance on your truck is less than 6-1/2 inches, then the # BWHDRH25187 would be a fit. If that amount of drop isn't sufficient, you...

  • Recommended Class V Trailer Hitch for a Semi Truck
The closest I'm able to find is the Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch w/ Brackets # C59CR which has a max GTW of 20,000 lbs and a max tongue weight capacity of 2,000 lbs. We do have hitches rated for 30,000 lbs when used with a weight distribution system, however those are for regular trucks and won't work with your semi truck. If you are interested in this hitch, the only caveat is that the frame this attaches to must be no less than 18" and no more than 62" wide.

  • Can 2-1/2" Trailer Hitch Be Installed on a 2000 Alpine RV
Thanks for reaching out! For your application I recommend checking out the Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-On Hitch which has a 2-1/2" hitch receiver, is rated for 20,000 lbs towing, and comes as part # C97CR for a 9" drop or part # C59CR for an 18" drop. Since these are universal you'll need to check the compatibility with your specific frame, but the crossmember measures 62" wide and can be cut to fit, and the weld-on installation means it can fit multiple applications. I'm attaching some...

  • Is There a Trailer Hitch Receiver Which Will Fit a 2018 Isuzu NPR With A Lift Gate?
In my experience a truck like your 2018 Isuzu NPR will either have a lift gate or a receiver. This is because the lift gate has to go up and down on the frame and is typically folded where the receiver will sit. Depending on how everything is mounted and the length of your chassis you may be able to still use a receiver like the Curt # C59CR with an Extension # C45048. You would have to mount the receiver in front of the lift gate and then insert and remove the extension when needed.

  • Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2021 Lance 2285 Travel Trailer Capable of Holding 500 Pounds
On a travel trailer like your 2021 Lance 2285 the go to hitch is typically the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13703. This hitch fits frames from 22-72" wide. However, this Class III hitch tops out at 350 lbs of tongue weight. In order to reach the 500 lb capacity you will need a universal Class V hitch like the # C59CR. This fits frames up to 62" wide so you will need to measure. I have attached some review and installation videos below for your reference.

  • Recommended High Capacity Hitch and Dual Ball Mount for a 2003 Bluebird Bus
I have a solution for adding a heavy duty hitch to your 2003 Bluebird bus but there aren't any TorkLift SuperHitches that will work because they are all custom fit. You will need to go with a universal option and the one I recommend is the Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch w/ Brackets item # 15903. This is a class V hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 15,000 lbs towing capacity and a 1,500 lbs maximum tongue weight. This hitch must be welded on. There is no way to bolt it to your bus...

  • Hitch For A 20000 Bluebird All American TC Series Bus
For your 2000 Bluebird All American TC Series Bus I recommend Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch w/ Brackets - 2-1/2" Receiver - 62" Wide Item # C59CR. With this being a universal weld on hitch the brackets can be moved to fit a wide variety of different frame widths. This is a class 5 hitch with an 18" drop, a 2-1/2" receiver tube opening, a 2000 lb maximum tongue weight and a 20,000lb gross trailer weight. I also recommend the B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount - 2-1/2" Hitch - 7-1/2" Drop/Rise...

  • Option For Heavy-Duty Hitch on Gulfstream Yellowstone
There are no custom fit options for a hitch on your Gulfstream (I was unable to find any reference to a Reese 38535), but there are a couple of options for heavy-duty hitches you may be able to use, which are weld-on options. - Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch w/ Brackets # C97CR - Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch w/ Brackets # C59CR Both have a 20,000 lb towing capacity and 2,000 lb tongue weight capacity and will weld onto frames between 18" and 62" wide. I do have some weld-on options for you as I unfortunately do not have any custom fit bolt on options and I cannot look at the detailed specs for your 2022 Tiffin Allegro Bus 45 OPP Motorhome. We have 2 sets of the Curt Class 5 receivers with either a 44" or 62" wide receiver tube which are all rated for up to 20,000lbs trailer weight and 2,000lbs tongue weight.
