Heavy Duty Trailer Hitch For 2009 Ford E450 Cutaway
Question:
2009 e450 cutaway frame rails on the outside are 42 in two holes that are in the frame are 38 and 1/4 in center a hole to center a hole. Im looking for a class 5 heavy duty hitch that can fit that. Is there any way that you can measure some of the hitches to see they are compatible.

Expert Reply:
No but you can use a universal hitch as there are no custom fits. For a Class V hitch that you can bolt or weld onto your frame that is 42 inches from outside to outside you can use one from Draw-Tite:
- Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Receiver # 41990-07
Or for a weld-on only you can use the Class V Universal Weld-on Receiver Hitch and Brackets with 3" Drop # 15901.
