Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a real quick look at this Blue Ox Long Towbar 2-1/2 Inch Hitch Connector. This is going to replace the hitch connector for your Blue Ox Avail, Apollo, or Ascent tow bars. And on your screen for your reference, I am including the model numbers of those tow bars that this is going to work with. And this includes everything that you see here on my table before me. It's going to include this hollow receiver, and then the pin and clip, and then the hardware, and also a set of instructions to walk you through the simple installation process.

And let me go ahead and pull out my tape measure here and just give you some measurements. So measuring just the length of the shank itself. We are sitting right at 16 and 11/16 inches long. And then in case you we're interested, just the overall length, it looks like we're sitting right at about 23 and 3/4 inches long. So this is directly from Blue Ox.

So you can proceed with confidence knowing that this is going to fit and work with your Avail, Apollo, and Ascent tow bars. And this has a weight capacity of 15,000 pounds. However, with any towing setup, your overall towing capacity is only as strong as your weakest component. So refer to your tow bars manual for towing capacity.
