Receiver Recommendation For a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 With Roll Pan Rear Bumper
Question:
Was reading questions on the 75101 and it was mentioned that it will not work on a truck with a roll pan. The truck I’m looking to buy does have a roll pan 01’ Ram. Do you have a hitch that will work for this? Thanks

As we do not carry a custom fit receiver option for behind the roll pan on your 2001 Dodge Ram 1500, I recommend having the Curt Universal Receiver # 15901 custom fit on your truck. This will allow you to have the receiver hidden behind the license plate on your roll pan which you will be able to remove and install with the Bracket # 5443 depending on if you are towing or not. This will also give you a much cleaner look than if you had one hanging below the roll pan on your Ram.
You will need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118329 for a 4-way flat connector. If you are pulling larger trailers which require a 7-way or Brake Controller # 90885 you will also need the Install Kit # ETBC7.
