Corrosion-resistant ball mount is 13" long and fits 2" x 2" trailer hitch receivers.Haven't used it yet. I bought it because of CURT's quality. It was beat up in shipping though.
This 13" drawbar keeps the tailgate off the trailer jack.
Being that long also keeps it I storage immediately after I disconnect the trailer.
No need for a locking pin.
These are perfect for newer trucks with taller tailgates
Exactly what I needed to extend the reach of the ball beyond my rear tire carrier WITHOUT losing any tongue weight capacity! I used mine for the 2" rise.
Not usually a fan of any extra length between the truck and trailer, I opted for this extended ball mount so I could drop the tailgate without hitting the trailer jack. This did the trick. But this not a mount you should leave on your truck after detaching the trailer! Ouch!

This is the second one sent took 4 months to get a refund on the first one.
The first one lasted one long trip before bending
Quality control is lacking on this product line.
Each item was as described and installation a snap. Light are at least twice as bright as originals. The right-angle wiring pigtail made the project much easier.
Really appreciate the extensive information on each product and the follow up is a nice touch.
Measured the drop to keep the trailer horizontal, and length for tailgate clearance. This hitch works great!
It's perfect for my Jeep Wrangler it gets the ball past the spare tire.
Product is per specs. Attached is why I needed and how it helped me attach the mud flaps and still be able to plug in my 7 pin. I was really happy that I didn’t have to pay two day shipping, and it still arrived in that amount of time just like it said it would.

For a 7,500 lb hitch, I was surprised it didn’t have a wedge support welded on where the flat iron is welded to the square tube.
Quality mount. I needed a longer mount for my golf cart and this will work great.
I have traveled across the US towing an overloaded Uhaul 12' trailer.
The trailer was still behind me when I arrived, so the hitch functioned as promised.
I did not, however, require the extra long hitch as suggested for my particular vehicle, but it will serve as an extra. Unnecessary purchase.
My son has since purchased a hitch from etrailer for his new Ford Edge.
We're both happy - very robust and well engineered product(s)

Excellent. Now mostly serves as an intimidation factor for those who would tailgate me...
Product is exactly what was expected. But what is really 5-Star is this company's actions after the order is submitted. The website allows the customer to follow the timeline of the item from the order being placed to being pulled to being shipped to having a tracking number.... and in an extremely quick manner! Will shop here again.
I needed a hitch with a long shank because of my spare tire being mounted on the back of my Jeep. This one does the trick!

The etrailer Curt Hidden Hitch was almost $200 less expensive than the suburu dealer, without installation. Thank you etrailer your suburu install video was fantastic. Very apprehensive about removing the entire rear bumper panel on my new outback; but had my laptop open in the back of the suv,and installed like clockwork. Hidden hitch has no unsightly drop bars hanging

Excellent product and service.
Bought this long heavy duty ball mount so I can open my tail gate with a trailer still hitched up.
All the online measurements and information made it much easier to choose the correct mount.

Works exactly as expected! My Subaru Outback bumper did not allow for a "normal" length drawbar, so this longer one was the only way I could tow anything.

Still works great a year later!
Great product! I’ve had mine for about a year and I use it to pull my 3800 lb bass boat all over Michigan. I actually had to buy this extended hitch, because all the gm products have the hitches tucked further under the bumper. Which when I use my mudflaps that hook onto the hitch, they would always hit the bumper. Great product.
Excellent service from etrailer! Required an extended hitch so I could open the truck tailgate with the trailer attached and has done the job it was purchased for. The finish looks as new as it did when I bought it a year ago.
