How Much Rise Does Curt Rockerball Give Ball Mount
Question:
How much rise will this part add, if any? I was planning to purchase Item # C45270 with the 2inch rise. But if I add this shock absorbing ball and combine with the C45270 will that put the rise beyond 2?

Expert Reply:
The Curt Rockerballs like the part # C94CR add 1-1/2 inches of height compared to a standard ball so if you used this with a ball mount that has 2 inches of rise like the # C45270 that you referenced you'd effectively have a 3-1/2 inch rise.
So for the amount of rise that you want your best option would be the part # C40047 for a Rockerball since it has a 1 inch shank diameter and then the Brophy ball mount # BM20 which has a rise of 3/4 inches. This would get you really close to what you need and would be closest option.
