Works great with the Dutton-Lainson winch for lifting a 150-200lb topper off of my Tacoma when I need the bed. Bit of a warning - go slow if you use a drill. I managed to burn up the motor on a $200 Ridgid 18V drill using is to turn the shaft. I had no issues with a cheaper Ridgid 18V drill.

- Will the Hex Shaft # DL406102 work on a Worm Gear Hand Winch # DL11002The Hex Shaft for Dutton-Lainson Worm Gear Winches # DL406102 that you referenced is designed to fit Dutton-Lainson worm gear winches so yes, it will work on the Worm Gear Hand Winch # DL11002 that you referenced. However, this product is designed to work with 5/8 inch sockets and would not work with your 1/2 inch socket. You will need to order this product separately as it is not included with the # DL11002. This winch has held up very well, I built two dump trailers where this is the lift. Both trailers have been used a lot, I get compliments on how easy they are to use and how much they like the ease of use running these with a small drill. I love these things. What a great design. Highly recommended.
