Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this replacement removable handle kit for the Dutton Lainson DLB series brake winches. Now this is a removable handle kit that includes everything you need to replace the handle on all the DLB series brake winches. This handle uses the spring loaded pin right here. That'll hold the handle in place during use. And it's very easy to remove the handle just by pulling that, sliding it off.

Now, when you do install this, it will require the spring from the original handle on the winch. Now, this also does include this square tube hub. That'll allow the winch to be operated with an electric drill when utilizing a drill drive socket. Now that drill drive socket we do sell separately on our website. It's listed on this product page as a related product and it's part number DL six four five six.

The blank on the this handle which is measured from the center here to the center here is seven inches long. It does come with everything you need. Like I said, you'll use the original spring from the original handle but basically what happens is you'll take your nut, spring, and handle off the original winch. And then you'll screw this right onto the winch. Put your spring in there, put that nut in there.

Tighten it down and that'll hold it onto the winch. So this is the only part that would be installed on there. And then when you go to Mount your handle you can see there's the hole right there. All you have to do is slide it on, pull that pin, slide it on the rest of the away, and then a lock in place. And now your handle's ready to operate your winch just like that.

And then when you're done, you don't want to leave the handle on there, just pull this pin, slide it right off there, store this away. And this is the only thing showing on your winch.
