Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this replacement winch and crank extension for the Lippert RV Spare Tire Carrier. Now, this part here will replace the winch and crank extension on your Lippert components spare tire winch assembly, which we do sell separately on our website. And it's part number LC159041. And I just wanna pop up an insert to show you.

That's the assembly we're talking about. Basically, that spare tire winch assembly is what'll bolt onto the chassis of your RV, and allows you to carry a spare tire under your chassis. This portion here is the winch and crank portion of it. If, by chance, it got damaged and it needs to be replaced, You can just unbolt this from that assembly, bolt this in place, and you're ready to go. And you can see that if you turn this counterclockwise, you notice it'll lower the cable with the hook on it, and then you put your spare tire on it.

Once you got your spare tire, then go ahead and crank it clockwise and it'll bring it back up under the chassis. Now, this will require the use of a scissor jack crank handle or a three quarter inch socket or wrench, which you apply right here to the end of the extension. And then you can crank it to lower it down or pull it up, whichever you need. But that should do it for the review on the replacement winch and crank extension for the Lippert RV Spare Tire Carrier.
