They went on a custom made trailer build that’s not yet in service. Seem to function as advertised.

They work very well. They make using the trailer when not coupled to vehicle. Very sturdy.

by:

Threads on one r-pod 202 jack stripped. I ordered two replacements. The replacements fit the original brackets. This was good since one of each was spot welded on. Heavier with much more coarse threads than the original jacks.

by:

Same as the original equipment. Fits well, fast delivery. Thank you etrailer.

by:

These were a perfect replacement. They got here quickly! Thanks!

by:

Had to replace one of my jacks after a little "incident" when backing in my camper. This replacement is the most trouble-free jack on my camper to this day. It never binds up, doesn't squeak, and is definitely more solid than the other three. Not too hard to install either. Would buy again!

by:

Lucky I found the identical stabilizer jack at etrailer as the other three on my trailer. Same size, looks, and capacity to replace the one that got bent during a minor collision

Great!

by:

Great product. works just fine. The problem I had was matching the mounting plate under my trailer. Apparently not a standard so I had to take it to a trailer manufacturer to make it fit.

by:

I’m not 100% satisfied because I was expecting better quality for the price. However, they do their job if you have a 20’ travel trailer like mine. I suggest if you have a bigger trailer go get the heavy duty version.

by:

Great product! Although, it did not fit our current RPod bracket. Had to grind of old bracket and purchase new self tapping screws since I don't own a welder.

by:

Selection and speed of delivery are top notch, etrailer has saved me hundreds of dollars by my being able to by the parts I need for my trailer and fixing things myself. Thanks for being there

by:

Bolt holes lined up perfectly. Replace the two rear jacks in 30 min easy job. New jacks seem to much better quality than originally installed jacks and they were the same weight capacity.

by:

Best purchase for my camper! Easy to install and hook up. It works great.

by:

Transaction was smooth. Shipping in timely manner.

by:

Installed 4 total in place of the arm style stablizer. Very happy, mechanically work great, look great, and the camper is very stable. Much more than before.

by:

Tell Kimberly that I’ve got my package

by:

Exactly what I was needing to replace the original that was broken.

The project is still working as intended but he’s showing a good bit more rest than the original jacks. The quality is not great, but it is functional.

by:

This is a much sturdier looking stabilizer jack than the original one I'm replacing. The only possible issue is that the frame bracket where it mounts on the two plates is about 1/8 inch wider than the original. I was hoping to use my original plates but I think I'll need to use the plates that came with the new jack. Anyway, those plates are also different (slightly larger with the mounting holes spaced differently) than the original but it is a much better product so I will make it work.

I used ground freight for shipping to reduce the overall cost and i still received this in a timely manner. I highly recommend this company etrailer.

by:

Look very sturdy and packaged super wel l.

by:

These scissor Jack's are much better than the factory ones. I bent my original stabilizers last season. These Jack's are much more heavy duty than factory. These have multiple mounting holes so just zip them in on the frame with self tapping screws. Easy install.

by:

I purchased these stabilizer jacks to replace two original jacks that were damaged. My original jacks were mounted at the extreme end of my frame rails and were repeatedly damaged when driving out of service stations with deep curbs and driving to remote camping sites. I was easily able to place both these new units farther forward to remove this hazard. I was able to position the jacks where I wanted and hold them in place to bolt on by raising them jacked up to place mounting bracket against the frame. Simply then used self tapping screws and job was complete.

by:

It isn’t possible to determine the bolt hole configuration for mounting the jacks onto the trailer using the web site. It would be very helpful if a template in a pdf file were on the site that would enable you to print the template and verify proper configuration and alignment prior to ordering.

by:

Perfect replacement for the 2516g rockwood pop up. Easy to replace. Great service and fast shipping.

by:

The jack came in a timely manner. It was not quite the same as the original that I bent, but it was workable. I used the original hardware to mount it on the frame. It works great, and I will be more careful with my walk arounds in the future..

  • Brainstorming Sidewind Trailer Jack for 2 Inch Receivers On Cargo Trailer Corners For Stabilization
Interesting. We don't have that specifically, but there are a couple of routes you could go. Most trailers will use the Scissor Stabilizer Jack - 18-3/4" Travel - 2,500 lbs - Qty 1 # TJSC-24 for stability in the corners so you could mount a receiver shank to that and use # TJSC-24-HD as a sidewind crank. It sounds like you were picturing more of a trailer tongue style option, so you could use a jack like the etrailer Square Jack w/ Footplate - Drop Leg - Bolt On - Zinc - Sidewind - 29-1/8"...

  • Recommended Manual Leveling Device For Forest River Flagstaff Super Lite Travel Trailer
I have a different option for you, but there are no scissor jacks rated for lifting (leveling) a trailer like your Forest River Flagstaff Super Lite 29KSWS. Instead you will need to use the tongue jack to level the trailer front to back, and leveling blocks like the # UF48-979050 to level the trailer side to side. I included a video of the # UF48-979050 for you to take a look at.

  • Replacement Rear Scissor Jacks for 2012 KZ Spree 261 Travel Trailer
Trailer items like jacks and stabilizers are usually not trailer-specific and most trailer makers don't even keep track of the specific jack installed on their trailers since they may change such parts based on availability or pricing. The things you want to match up as you choose your new scissor jack are the weight capacity (check the sticker on your damaged jack and use at least that same rating if not higher); and the jack height. You want to make sure you do not lose ground clearance...

  • Stabilizer Recommendations for 2016 Rockwood Ultra Lite
For a travel trailer like your 2016 Rockwood Ultra Lite the best solution to prevent the movement is the Electric Ground Control TT system part # LC672136 which with the push of a button will level and stabilize the trailer better than other options. But it's not a cheap solution. Scissor jacks like the part # TJSC-24 are one option but like you found they don't totally get rid of the movement as well as something like the Ground Control or something like the Ultra Fab # UF39-941704.

  • Is New Mounting Hardware Needed For The etrailer Scissor Stabilizer Jack # TSJC-24
I typically just reuse the same hardware as long as it isn't rusting out and the threads are still good when swapping out scissor jacks, like the # TJSC-24. Scissor jacks typically won't come with any hardware so if your current hardware is trashed then you will want to pick up some new self-tappers. Most scissor jacks will have a minimum of 2-bolts/screws per mounting bracket but if your frame allows you can use 4 per bracket. On I-beam frames the center of the beam typically blocks some...

The Stallion # 288-01892-2 stabilizer jacks are height adjustable from 15-1/4 to 22-1/4 inches, and would fold down when not in use. • Can Forest River R-Pod 180 Travel Trailer Use Electric Stabilizer Jacks
Smaller and lighter camper trailers like your R-Pod 180 typically do not have electric stabilizer jacks but instead use manual scissor type jacks. The main reasons are ground clearance, weight and power consumption. The manual scissor jacks typically need less ground clearance than electric ones and they add much less weight to your towing system. They also do not deplete precious battery power.
