Can Middle Rod in Scissor Jack be Replaced
Question:
need a screw bolt for my scissors jack 5/8 x 17
asked by: Russell J
Expert Reply:
The middle bolt that extends/retracts scissor jacks is unfortunately non-replaceable so you'll have to replace the jack(s) entirely. This is because if that bolt needs replacing then more times than not the whole jack is messed up and it's safer to replace the whole thing.
Here are our etrailer-branded jacks in different quantities:
Single - # TJSC-24
Pair - # TJSCHD-24
Set of 4 - # TJSCHD-24-4
These jacks are rated for 5,000 lbs and have a 18-3/4" lift. I've attached a review video for you to check out.
