Today, we're going to be taking a look at part number 19255. This is the tow-ready two-inch Hitch Ball. It's made from a steel construction. It's going to have a really nice chrome finish on it so you don't have to worry about rust or corrosion. Another neat feature about this unit, is here on the sides, it's got flat sides. These are called your wrench flats and makes your installation much easier. When installing this keep in mind that this must be torqued to specifications that's listed by the manufacturer. If we take the measurement of the shank diameter on this unit-measuring this portion right here-that shank is going to give us a diameter, looks to be about three quarters of an inch.
The shank length measuring from the bottom of the platform to the end of the threaded portion, that's going to measure about three and three-eighths of an inch. And just the threaded portion, that's going to give us a measurement of about two and seven-eighths of an inch. Again, the hitch ball diameter on the unit is going to measure two inches. It's going to offer a capacity of thirty-five hundred pounds and with this part number you're going to get your hitch ball, you're going to get lock nut-excuse me your lock washer-and you're going to get your nut. When installing this your draw bar or your ball mount platform is going to sit between the bottom of the platform of the hitch ball in between the top of the lock washer. So, your draw bar is going to be on this portion right here. That's going to do it for our review of part number 19255. This is the tow-ready two-inch Hitch Ball..

Defective electric hitch replaced in 4 days. Agent was kind enough to mail a shiping label because my printer was broke and i could not print a email. I had Amazon orders needing a return, but they just advised me to find a place to copy the email
I needed a second ball installed on my bx Kubota tractor in order to move my utility trailer around on my property. I already had a 1 7/8 " ball for my tow behind mower so I had to elevate the 2 " ball so as to not interfere with the 1 7/8" ball. The 3 3/8 " shank ball worked perfectly.
This is a product (ball hitch with 3 in long shank) that is very hard to find. I am completely satisfied with the service and product.
Bought this ball with an extra long shank so that I could bolt it to a tractor grapple frame.
Works like a charm. I can tow a few items quickly without changing implements on the 3-point.

Needed a ball that, when installed, would raise to 17" from ground level. etrailer had what I'd been looking for. Had to modify it a little with a shim. Should have shopped there first before going to several different stores and wasting time and fuel. Service was excellent; provided a tracking number which allowed me to keep up with where it was and when to expect delivery.
I paired this with Item #325-GH-090 top and bottom on my tractor drawbar. Just have to flip the bar to change between balls. Saves a lot of time.

Like other people stated in many of the reviews I read, I needed a two-inch hitch ball with a shank in excess of three inches. Wish I had come here first instead of driving to a number of places in Kalamazoo County, only to be told they don't have them with a shank that long. Quick shipping and no games. I highly recommend. I'll be using this to tow a canoe on a light trailer.
I purchased the Tow Ready Ball for a specific task that ended up not having to be done. I have not used the ball since but I am ready to go if and when another task comes up requiring it’s use. I am sure it is a fine durable product.

It is very hard to find a hitch ball with a long shank! I was thrilled to find it and even more thrilled by the quality and price. It fits perfectly, and although I haven't put it to use yet, I have no worries about it at all. I will recommend this site to anyone needing these products!

If you want a 2 inch ball with a long shank ,this is the one you need.I never see a shank that long.Work great.
Perfect for my 2001 Toyota Tacoma pickup bumper. Correct 3/4 dam. shaft and long soak to fit depth of bumper. 10 min. and ready to roll.

Could use a little hole in shank for a locking Cotter pin.
