Yes; you were on the right track with the product you were looking at. The Curt # C11367 is a confirmed fit for your 2014 BMW 328i GT and will provide you with a Class I hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver to allow you to carry hitch mounted accessories or tow a small utility trailer. One of the great features of a hitch like this is the concealed cross tube, which not only looks a lot cleaner on the back of your vehicle, but it provides a little more ground clearance than visible cross tube hitches.
If you're planning on towing a trailer with your vehicle, you'll need to add trailer wiring as well as a ball mount and hitch ball. For the wiring harness, you'll need to use the Tekonsha ZCI (zero contact interface) # 119250KIT which is a wiring harness that does not require the cutting of any wires on your BMW to install it. This is the best option available for leased vehicles or a vehicle that you don't want to disturb the factory wiring on.
For a ball mount, you'll want to use something like the # C45022 which is designed for Class I hitches with a 1-1/4" receiver. You'll also need a hitch ball like the # 19254 (1-7/8" ball) or # 19255 (2" ball) to complete your towing setup.
I've linked the installation of the Curt hitch on a similar 328i for you to have a look at that you may want to refer back to when it comes time for installation.
