Very useful for adding tie down points. Only reason for not giving 5 stars was the need to cut off the extra length and drill new holes farther up for the pins so the units fit better.
Been using this shock absorbing hitch for over a year now. The finish is still good, no rusting, and it has become my favorite hitch insert for heavy trailers

These cushioned ball mounts work perfectly. I had a 2" drop version that I used for a couple years. Purchased this 4" drop due to trailer height adjustment.

This is the second hitch I own. Previously, bought the 2 inch drop and I wanted the 4 inch drop. The hitch works great!
Great piece of hardware. Used it last summer towing about 7500 pounds. I was not worried using this hitch.
Fantastic! I've used these before with lighter truck/trailer combos, but the difference with a heavier truck and trailer is even more amazing compared to a non-cushioned ball mount.
We use this to pull our 20' cargo trailer. We made 7 trips from northern Arizona to western Kansas and it is holding up great.
I just received my ball mount receiver and ball. Great looking product. I'm excited to see how the cushion works. Torqueing the ball to 450ft lbs. was fun!!!
