I've had no issues.

by:

Well built....very good quality welds.

It’s beefy and solid. The mounting bracket square holes had to be cut in a smidge and he added two more support bars.. but all in all. My welder said it would tow 11-12 k. Not the 16k I was told. But hey. I’m okay with that. There was a shipping issue which forced me to reschedule a few things, that is the only reason I gave 4 stars. Otherwise I am supper happy with how it turned out.

by:

It is very well built and the powder coating is very tough, took a good grinding to get it off for the welds. Good price as well. I used it for my 2006 Bounder 35E, not because it was a high rate hitch, as I did not need one, but this was the only one that would lower the hitch to a more normal height from the ground. The old hitch was so high a 10" deep was not enough to use a trailer parallel to the ground. Now I can hook up a lot easier and not worry about scraping. Looks good too.

by:

Great quality product from Curt . Can be easy installation depending on the application.. mine more difficult because of aluminum alloy frame, so will have to do some reinforcing.

by:

attached this hitch to my 1984 American General 5 ton military truck. Had to do some modification to air lines and drill a few holes but it is perfect for pulling civilian trailers with the M 813.

by:

Extremely high quality product, very happy with my purchase. Shipped quickly, I received it before the estimated time. One more side note, the shipping box was damaged while in route, (Not etrailer's fault) but because they did a great job packing it, everything was still in the box even though half of one side was torn off the box. I will defiantly be a repeat customer!!

by:

I put this on my 03 Freightliner Columbia. It does everything I want it to. It is bolted and welded.
I like it so much that a bought another one and put it on my old school bus. That one is just bolted on.

by:

Perfect fit on my 2009 blue bird

by:

Very happy with this hitch. The size of the end plates matched the frame on our old truck and with the class V weight rating, our old truck can do a few other things around the farm now. Thank you.

by:

Added (welded) to our diesel pusher Motorhome and have no issues and really no worries while towing whatever we feel we need while camping.

by:

Fast shipping

by:

Well, I really respect the fact that they waited for one year before asking for a review, they offer a 2 inch and a 2 1/2 inch receiver the 2 1/2 inch receiver would obviously be a larger rectangle to accommodate a half an inch, the vertical uprights I received had holes pre-cut to accommodate a 2 1/2 inch receiver I ordered a 2 inch receiver, needless to say, there was an abundance of slop, half inch gaps, requiring a lot of fabrication on either side of the vertical uprights, knowing this now, going with the 2 1/2 receiver should have saved a ton of unnecessary fabrication time.

by:

I think you guys should send me some ap parel!

by:

Exactly what we wanted. Worked perfect on our recent, extended trip to Alaska and back.

by:

Solid as stone!!

by:

I welded this up on my 2004 GMC converted school bus, it worked great with minimal bumper notching

by:

This hitch was exactly what was needed for my landscaping customer's small dump body truck. It replaced the original custom hitch with only minor modifications to accommodate the cargo body. I have done considerable work for this customer over many years. No issues reported with this job. All good!! Thanks to Curt and etrailer for great products and stellar service. —

by:

Works great!

by:

Great product. Fast delivery

by:

Was able to position the hitch where I wanted on a chassis cab and it works great.

by:

Brent was amazing with his attention to detail. He made sure I received the correct hitch and a follow up on my delivery. Thanks again

by:

I called to ask what was the inside dimension of the big square and it was said to be 4 1/2" square, that wasn't even close, it was 3 5/8" square.
But I was lucky I needed 3 1/4 square. I'm modifying this to fit my fisher plow bracket so I have a front hitch to use around the yard. Nobody makes one. I own a machine shop so by getting this saves me a lot of work. So by receiving the wrong info I rating you less than EXCELLENT

by:

it was nice product to buy put it was to small had to return it and i order a bigger one thanks etrailer

  • Recommended Hitch for a 2016 Silverado 2500 With a Utility Bed
There have been quite a few issues with custom hitches fitting trucks with Royal truck beds installed, so I am actually going to steer you in a different direction. The Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch # 15903 will fit on a frame that is up to 60 inches wide and will also drop down up to 11.5 inches. We do have more options if needed, but you will need to measure from where this would sit on the frame to the bottom of your utility bed to make sure more drop is or is not needed. This...

  • Trailer Hitch Option For Bus
There isn't anything specific for your Chevy Mid Bus but there is an option for a universal, adjustable weld-on hitch. For example, if your frame was 18" to a maximum of 60" then you could use the Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch w/ Brackets # 15903. I have added a link below to our entire selection of weld-on hitches for you.

  • Recommended Hitch With 10,000 Pound Capacity for 2005 National Sea Breeze
For that kind of capacity you're going to need a universal weld-on hitch like the Curt Class V # 15902. This fits frames from 18" to 44" and has a gross towing weight of 15,000 lbs and tongue weight of 1,500 lbs. If your frame is larger you can use the # 15903 which fits frames up to 60" instead. Make sure to consult your owner's manual for your towing capacity. You will be limited by whichever capacity is lower.

  • Best Heavy Duty Trailer Hitch for a 2007 Ford E-450
For a trailer hitch with a 10,000 gross trailer weight towing capacity that will fit your 2007 Ford E-450, I recommend the Class V Universal Weld-on Receiver Hitch part # 15903. This hitch as the title states is a universal option that will fit frame rails spaced between 18" to 60" apart so your 43" rail spacing will not be a problem whatsoever. It also has a greater towing capacity than you need, 15,000 lbs which is never a bad thing. Please note that in order to install this trailer...

  • Dimensions Of Brackets Included In Curt Class V Weld-On Receiver 15903
The mounting plates included with the Curt Class V Universal Weld-On Receiver # 15903 you were looking at are slightly different that the 16" Weld-On Bracket Kit # 4916 you mentioned. Our warehouse measured the # 15903 brackets and they measure 18-1/2" long x 9-3/8" wide overall, 16-1/2" from the bottom of the bracket to the top of the lower notched area, and 11-3/4" from the top of the crosstube hole to the top of the lower notched area as shown in the included diagrams.

  • Solution for Trailer Hitch Receiver on 2019 E-450 Cutaway With Lift Gate
Typically the solution for your 2019 E-450 Cutaway is a universal hitch like the Curt # 15903 you looked at. With the liftgate you will have to figure out if it will fit or not based on the placement and design of the liftgate. Some have too many parts in the way and others may have room for a hitch installation. If you aren't sure i recommend talking to a certified welder or fabricator to see if this is possible based on the position of your liftgate. You could also have a custom hitch...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch For 2000 Spartan Newmar
I can get the hole dimensions for you of the B&W Heavy-Duty Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit part # BWHDRH25132 but it is not meant to fit a 2000 spartan MM newmar RV chassis so it will most likely be too narrow since it is designed to fit pick up trucks. I recommend to use a weld on adjustable hitch like Class V Universal Weld-on Receiver Hitch part # 15903. It can be installed on frames from 18" to 61" to fit various trailer frames. It also has a 15000 lb gross towing weight capacity....

  • Is There A Trailer Hitch For The 2013 Mercedes-Benz ML350 Bluetec?
Hello Silvio, thanks for reaching out. The hitches that we offer for the 2013 Mercedes-Benz M-class, the Curt # C13411 and the Draw-Tite # 76141, will only fit gasoline models. Since your ML350 Bluetec is a Diesel, these hitches will not fit. Unfortunately we do not offer anything for the Diesel models at this time. Your only option would be to take a Universal Weld-On hitch like the Curt # 15903 and have a professional welder fabricate something to fit.

  • What Vehicles Does Curt Trailer Hitch # C11265 Fit
The Curt Class I Trailer Hitch # C11265 is a confirmed fit for the 2003-2018 Toyota Corolla and then just the Sedan model of the Corolla for 2019. For replacement hardware you can use our part # RHK. Trailer hitches like this are custom-designed to fit specific vehicles, so there's not usually a large range of models that any single hitch will fit unless you're looking for a more universal weld-on style like the Curt # 15903.
