This one-piece panel bracket braces a 12" roller on your boat trailer to help you easily load and transport your boat. If features corrosion-resistant, galvanized steel construction and slotted mounting holes for adjustability.

Features:

  • Panel bracket supports a 12" roller on your boat trailer
  • Bolts to your trailer's frame
    • Mounting hardware not included
  • Sturdy, 11-gauge galvanized steel construction resists corrosion
    • 6 Gussets provide extra strength by stiffening the bends
  • Slotted mounting holes allow you to adjust the position during installation
  • Made in the USA

Specs:

  • Quantity: 1 bracket
  • Application: 12" rollers
    • Accepts a 13" long x 5/8" diameter roller shaft
  • Dimensions of mounting slots (each): 1/2" wide x 5" tall
  • Spacing of mounting slots: 10" apart on center

Typically installed upright on the crossmembers of a boat trailer, panel brackets hold keel and spool rollers that help to keep the boat moving while it is being loaded and to stabilize the keel.

Galvanized Steel

Galvanized steel parts are hot-dipped in zinc after being stamped. This creates a coating that is typically 3 mil to 5 mil thick. This thick, all-around coating allows galvanized steel products to provide years of use without rusting or corroding.

Panel bracket worked perfectly with self centering roller.

by:

Because my boat would almost never load in a centered position on my trailer, I added three of these along the keel area for my deep V boat, I added rollers in these brackets that taper to the center of the roller and my boat loads perfectly the first time every time.

by:

Parts were better quality than expected! Will be ordering parts from etailer.com

by:

Prompt helpful service

by:

Galvanized bracket seems strong and made to last. Good price for what it is.

Gave it four stars because one of the roller shaft holes had to be cleaned out with a drill bit to allow the roller shaft to go through the hole.

by:

Overall the this bracket, roller and rod are sturdy and will do the job. Only trouble I had was there was excess galvinizing material blocking the hole for the roller rod. I had to clear it up with a file. Not a big deal but I hope it doesn't leave a gap in the galvinizing.

by:

Galvanized finish had a chip, but I plan to paint it anyway. Otherwise seems high quality. I bought one locally that is too big and allows the roller bushings to pop out. This measures 12.25 inches width, so it should fit the roller well.

by:

Everything was great!
Roller bracket
is heavy, not tinny at all.
The winch bolt pattern was different then my trailer but the trailer is a 1987 so no big deal!

Thanks keep up the good work!!

by:

Excellent Products and etrailer provides outstanding service and stands behind their products. Prompt shipping, support, and responses.

by:

Your standard 12" roller bracket in Galvanized Steel. Does it's job. Wish it was available in stainless steel though.

All products are working fine. They are as durable as expected. These are not the first parts Ive bought or used. It is the first review Ive written. Usually I do not have time to really assess the parts. Only time tells what the quality is. And as far as Im concerned, these are quality parts.

by:

Nice and heavy. Looks like you can try to beat it into submission, but you won't. The galvanize finish looks high qual.

by:

Everything I've ordered from these people has been good quality, this order was no exception. Good products, great and timely service, who could ask for anything more?

by:

  • Parts to Mount 12" Roller Guide
We have the Yates # YR12243-5 side guide roller measuring 12" long with a 5/8" shaft. We also have the CE Smith # CE10305G Panel Bracket for 12" Boat Trailer Rollers in Galvanized Steel. For roller shafts we have the closest we have is CE Smith # CE10727A measuring 13" X 5/8" shaft, in zinc plated steel.

  • Diameter of Yates Rubber YR12000 Boat Trailer Keel Roller
At the narrowest spot in the center, the Yates Rubber # YR12000 Keel Roller is 2-1/4 inches in diameter. At the ends which is the thickest part of the roller, the diameter is 3-5/16 of an inch. For a panel-style mounting bracket, use # CE10305G and for a roller shaft and pal nuts, use # CE10727A.

  • Capacity of YR12244-125EC Yates Rubber Boat Trailer Keel Roller
According to Yates Rubber, the # YR12244-125EC roller technically carries a 400 lb capacity, but the roller shaft like # CE10727A and the mounting bracket like # CE10305G do most of the heavy lifting. This is the strongest keel roller they offer. My contact at Yates tells me that the first thing to bend would be the roller shaft, and a 5/8 inch diameter shaft like what I referred to above wouldn't begin bending until around the 2000 lb mark. It's recommended to install more than one of...

  • What Hardware Is Needed To Mount CE Smith Panel Bracket CE10305G For 12" Keel Roller?
To mount the CE Smith Panel Bracket for 12" Boat Trailer Rollers - Galvanized Steel # CE10305G you were looking at you have two options. The first being welding the bracket to your trailer. If you go this route you need to make sure to sand off the galvanized coating as it gives off a harmful gas when it is welded. The second and more common option is using U-bolts. The U-bolts will need to match the size of the frame on your trailer so you will need to measure that. For example we have...

  • Availability Of PVC Keel Roller That Is Self Centering
I may have an option for you, but there is not a 8" version of the CE Smith Keel Roller for Boat Trailers - Self Centering # CE29505. If you are wanting the self centering feature you will need to use 12" # CE29505 and replace your current mounting bracket with the CE Smith Panel Bracket for 12" Boat Trailer Rollers # CE10305G and a new shaft # CE10727A. We do however have the CE Smith Keel Roller for Boat Trailers # CE29517 which is made of the same material and is the 8" length you mentioned,...

  • Will Roller part # YR12243-5 Fit on Roller Bracket # CE10305G
The 12 inch roller part # YR12243-5 that you referenced is designed to fit the CE Smith Panel Bracket # CE10305G. You would just need the roller shaft part # CE10727A which comes with pal nuts and you would be set. There isn't a stainless steel version of this available but this will resist corrosion well since it is galvanized. The roller will spin easily and would work well. This would work well for a roller on a boat trailer for a 500 lb boat. 4-1/4 inches is the distance from the...

  • Can CE Smith Galvanized Panel Bracket be Used with a Stainless Steel Shaft
CE Smith Panel Bracket # CE10305G is galvanized steel but the method of which the zinc coating was applied would not matter in terms of galvanic or dissimilar metal corrosion. Stainless steel and galvanized steel work well together with only a slight and minor chance of there being any corrosion. Of course in salt water environments it will increase that chance. So you can use a stainless steel shaft. This bracket takes a 5/8 inch diameter shaft. We do not have stainless steel shafts though...

  • Self Centering Keel Roller and Mounting Hardware For Boat Trailer
The CE Smith Keel Roller for Boat Trailers # CE29505 is our only self centering keel roller. It is 12" wide versus the 8" that you are looking for. We do have the CE Smith Panel Bracket for 12" Boat Trailer Rollers # CE10305G and Roller Shaft with Pal Nuts # CE10727A if you would like to move to the 12" keel roller to lessen the chance of your keel hitting the edge of the smaller 8" roller you currently have.

  • How To Help With Centering Boat On Trailer When Loading
I have a few options to help with loading the boat on the trailer but the best would have to be the CE Smith Keel Roller for Boat Trailers part # CE29505. In order to mount them you'd need the Roller Shaft with Pal Nuts part # CE10727A and CE Smith Panel Bracket part # CE10305G. I would stick with the same type of roller for the front and rear of the boat trailer.
