    • Helps to absorb road shock while boat is being trailered
  • Sturdy, corrosion-resistant brackets let you bolt roller assembly onto the tongue of your boat trailer

Specs:

  • Fits 3" trailer tongues
  • Height: 11-1/2"

These mounting brackets sandwich around the trailer's tongue and attach with included 3/8" diameter bolts. Multiple holes in the brackets make it easy to adapt to the different heights of trailer frames and also ensure that the roller will be mounted at the proper position. The 5" rubber spool roller helps to support your boat's keel during trailering.

Galvanized Steel

Galvanized steel parts are hot-dipped in zinc after being stamped. This creates a coating that is typically 3 mil to 5 mil thick. This thick, all-around coating allows galvanized steel products to provide years of use without rusting or corroding.

It is working ad I expected it to. No problems at all.

One of the pressed on caps that retains the axal thru the roller and the bracket came off while towing. Bad quality or design. etrailer sent a partial refund and I bought a locking nut and bolt.Works well now.

by:

I do not understand boat trailers, but with a particular issue, the photographs and application of the product (a roller) made the purchase simple and clear. I see how we may adjust the level of the roller to match the bed of the trailer under my boat. The description was also clear about the width of the center beam of the trailer. Typically the width might be two inches or three inches. I was able to identify the correct size for my trailer. Many thanks!

by:

On time, good part, works well! what more can i say I would order again from etrailer for future parts

Recently purchased a sailboat and needed hardware to re-configure an existing watercraft trailer in order to transport my new boat. Specifically needed to upgrade bunk hardware and install keel rollers. After unsuccessfully trying to locate the necessary hardware around town, I went online and found everything I needed at etrailer.com. As a first time user, I found the right products, an easy to use website, received fast shipping and great service. I'll be a return customer for certain.

by:

Hello etrailers, got it today, put it on in a matter of seconds, fit perfectly, sent you all some pictures, hope you got them. Would recommend to anyone who needs a boat stop, or just to mount anywhere on trailer. Thanks so much, Michael!

by:

Just what the pic said. i like the flexibility of the mounting bracket as i'm not sure where i will have to position it on the trailer i rebuilt, but mounting method gives lots of options

by:

  • Replacement CE Smith Keel Roller for 3 Inch Wide Trailer Tongue
The exact roller that is on the CE Smith Keel Roller Assembly # CE32003G is not currently available as a separate item, however you can use any 5 inch roller that uses a 5/8 inch shaft, such as the Yates Spool Roller # YR5203-5 as a replacement. This roller is constructed of heavy-duty rubber and is 5 inches long x 3 inches in diameter. I have attached a short video demonstration on this product for you to check out.

  • What Prevents Jet Ski From Rolling Forward Off of Jet Ski Trailer with Roller Bunks
Normally at the front of the trailer where the jack is there's a keel roller like the part # CE32005G for a 2 inch wide trailer tongue or part # CE32003G for a 3 inch wide tongue that the jack pulls the jet ski up to and is held in place.

  • Keel Roller Assembly that Fits Malone MicroSport LowBed Trailer # MPG464-LB
Since the Malone MicroSport LowBed Trailer # MPG464-LB has a 2 inch wide trailer tongue the correct keel roller is the part # CE32005G which is for 2 inch wide frames. The # CE32003G would be too wide as it's for 3 inch wide frames.

  • Keel Roller Assembly Similar to a Roller Bunk
Though we have roller bunks like # DL21741 and a Deep V Keel Roller Assemblies such as the 8" # CE10403G and 12" # CE10455G, we do not carry what would amount to a combination of the two. We also carry Keel Roller Assemblies that attach to either 2" trailer tongues # CE32005G or 3" trailer tongues # CE32003G. I've attached links to video reviews of these products for you to take a look at.

  • Do Boat Trailer Keel Rollers Have Specific Weight Capacity Ratings
The CE Smith Keel Roller Assembly for 3-Inch Wide Trailer Tongues, part # CE32003G, and the other similar boat trailer rollers we offer, do NOT carry a specific weight capacity rating. All of these items are rated well above their actual real-world requirements so you do not have to worry about using a particular roller assembly with a particular boat.

  • Roller Shaft and Pal Nuts For a Keel Roller with a 5/8 Inch Inner Shaft Diameter
You are going to need a 5/8 inch diameter shaft and pal nuts. You could use # CE10721A which comes with both. The shaft is 5-1/2 inches long. We also have other lengths that come with pal nuts: # CE10726A for 11-1/8 inches, # CE10725A for 9-1/4 inches, # CE10727A for 13-1/2 inches, or # CE10722A for 6-1/4 inches. The roller has a 3 inch diameter.

  • Keel Roller Assembly to Fit 3 Inch Wide Trailer Tongue on 2004 McClain Boat Trailer
I have a solution for you, but since the center to center space of the mounting slots on the CE Smith Deep V Keel Roller, 5 Inches # CE10401G measures 3 inches, the roller will not mount to your 3 inch wide trailer frame. There will not be enough room to attach the roller bracket to the frame. Instead, I recommend using the CE Smith Spool Roller Assembly for Boat Trailers, 4 Inches # CE10400G. This roller's mounting slots are 2 inches apart on center, which will give you sufficient room...

  • Does the CE Smith Keel Roller Assembly Part # CE32003G Have a Weight Capacity
The CE Smith Keel Roller Assembly part # CE32003G like most of our roller assemblies do not have a listed weight capacity as this is just not something that the manufacturer tests for because there are just too many variables involved. That said, I don't think the bow of your 1,100 lb boat should be anywhere near the the breaking point of the roller assembly so you should be just fine using this in the fashion that you described.

  • Keel Roller Assembly CE32003G Weight Capacity
The rubber keel roller # CE32003G does not have a weight capacity though it is designed to support the added weight of heavier boats. At any given time, it is not likely that any one roller will have to support the entire weight of the boat so it is not really a concern. If you are replacing a roller then the key is to get one that is the same size as the previous roller. Rollers like this are rated well above their actual real-world requirements so you do not have to worry about using...

  • How To Convert a Boat Trailer from Center Rollers to Bunk Rollers
Yes, it is possible to switch from center rollers to bunk rollers on a boat trailer. For this, you will first need to remove the center rollers and then you can install a set of bunk rollers, part # CE27710 along with part # CE10000G-4 to support the hull. Then, in order to support both the port and starboard sides you can use part # CE27600. I have attached a photo of a similar setup with bunk boards instead of bunk rollers for the hull. In addition to the above you will also need to...

  • Should Boat Trailer Keel Roller Be Snugged Down So Roller Doesn't Rotate, or Should It Spin Freely
The answer to your question will depend on what purpose the roller is serving. If the roller is being used to guide the boat into place on the trailer, then you'll want it to be able to roll. If the roller is simply providing support, holding the boat static in one position, then it really doesn't matter if the roller rolls or not.

  • Recommended Solution to Keep Nose of Boat From Dipping When Loading on Trailer Using a Drotto System
It sounds like you most likely could just add some of the CE Smith Keel Roller Assembly for 3" Wide Trailer Tongue # CE32003G or # CE32005G for 2" tongue, in front of your Drotto System to help keep the nose of the boat up when loading it under these conditions. You could also potentially fabricate something using the Yates Y-Style Bow Stop # YR7Y44-4 on some sort of welded on posts to provide you with a way to keep the nose of the boat from dipping too low. • Is Galvanized Steel Roller Assembly Compatible with Aluminum Boat Trailer Frame
There will be some corrosion if you attempt to mount the CE Smith Keel Roller Assembly for 3" Wide Trailer Tongues - Galvanized Steel and Black Rubber # CE32003G to your aluminum frame boat trailer. Aluminum roller assemblies can be somewhat difficult to find however, so if you want to use these galvanized steel assemblies you can, but you will want to make sure you mount a barrier (there is even "barrier tape") between the two metals so they don't come in contact. • Boat Hits Trailer After Leaving First Roller on Boat Trailer
For a keel roller, what you need is a high degree of adjustability so that the limited space you have will not be a factor. With roller and bracket set # CE32013G, because of its length, you can get a slight angle up from the trailer frame and that may be enough to fit the roller. Another option is to use roller bunks, # DL21741, which you can attach directly to flat bunks on the trailer. This will provide rollers for the length of the boat. The rollers are 5 feet long so you would need...

You can adjust the height and angle of the roller assembly using different mounting holes and position on the frame.
