This set of brackets allows you to mount a keel roller on your boat trailer's tongue. The brackets feature holes for height adjustment and corrosion-resistant construction for long life. Includes 2 brackets.

These mounting brackets sandwich around the trailer's tongue and attach with 3/8" diameter bolts (not included). Multiple holes in the brackets make it easy to adapt to the different heights of trailer frames and also to ensure that the roller will be mounted at the proper position.
Determining Roller, Bolt and Shaft Length
To determine mounting height, add 1" to your trailer's tongue width to determine the necessary length of the 3/8" mounting bolts (not included).
To determine roller width, add 2" to your trailer's tongue width.
To determine 5/8" roller shaft length, add 3" to your trailer's tongue width.
Galvanized Steel
Galvanized steel parts are hot-dipped in zinc after being stamped. This creates a coating that is typically 3 mil to 5 mil thick. This thick, all-around coating allows galvanized steel products to provide years of use without rusting or corroding.

I bought a used boat and purchased these brackets to replace the original bent keel roller bracket on the trailer. They fit perfect, appear to be Sturdy, and I appreciate that they are galvanized.

They are the same length as original same shape but full 1/2 inch narrower making them much weaker and I am replacing because original bent beyond use.

Great brackets at a great price. My only serious complaint about keel rollers is the use many of PALNUTs. I absolutely hate PALNUTs. They suck. Impossible to get off and not re-useable. The brackets, rolers, and everything else great. Get a 5/8 x 6 1/2 hex head bolt and locknuts. Use a sledge hammer to destroy any PALNUTs you encounter.

The trailer works fine. The axle has a leak in a weld and it drips water for a week or more after use. It will eventually rust the inside of the axle. Otherwise, a good product.

Solid keel roller brackets, with 7 mounting holes 1" apart on center good for tongues up to 5" (actually 5 5/8").

- Does Yates Keel Roller for Boat Trailers - Super-Heavy-Duty Rubber Have an Inner Steel TubeThe boat trailer rollers like Yates # YR8244-105EC do not have a steel tube on the inside. They do have nylon bushings at either end but the rest of the roller is solid rubber. I have included a link to a video review of the roller for you.
