This carpeted bunk board provides bow support for your johnboat or flat-bottom boat during transport and storage. The 2-foot-long board is wrapped in weather-resistant, marine-grade carpet. And the galvanized steel mounting bracket allows you to attach the bunk anywhere along the tongue of your boat trailer to fit the length of your boat. Holes along the length of the mounting bracket allow you to position the board from 5-1/2 to 8 inches above the trailer frame.
Galvanized Steel
Steel parts are galvanized by being hot-dipped in zinc after they have been stamped. This creates a coating that is typically 3 mm to 5 mm thick. This thick, all-around coating allows galvanized steel products to provide years of use without rusting or corroding.

When I purchased the boat & trailer, the bow was only supported by a conventional V roller. That would’ve been fine on a V hull boat , but the flat bottom Jon boat needed more support..
This is the perfect solution. It quickly attaches to the trailer tongue & supports a much wider area on the bottom..

Easy to install and exactly what I needed to support the front portion of our Jon boat on the trailer
In theory it’s ok, but it feels like if I had enough bunk support under the hill I wouldn’t need this. Used it for a few trips and the bracket kept moving around even when it was tightened up with an impact driver. Probably just wasn’t a good fit but it’s collecting cobwebs in the garage now.
Emailer had what I was looking for and shipped it out quickly.
Used this to connect the 2 7 foot bunks to the front and stabilize the raft. I used thru holes and bolts to mount the bunk. Also used lag bolts rather than the lag screws in all my bunks because it's easier to use a wrench versus a screwdriver. These are visible in the pictures.
Fit in place for my application and holding up well to wear.

It is a bit disappointing to not be able to use the bunk boards. I have a question about your trailer frame. How wide is the frame? I know that the brackets would work with a 2 or 3 inch wide frame. I wanted to know where the brackets were moving? On the frame or the bunk boards themselves.
