Note: If using a slider, hitch will not adjust to lowest height setting.
Most often used on trucks with 6' beds, this roller helps to eliminate clearance problems during slow-speed turns. When you are towing a fifth-wheel trailer, your hitch must be situated on the cab side of your truck's rear axle. However, at slow speeds you can use a roller to slide the fifth-wheel hitch (and the trailer) toward your truck's tailgate and past the rear axle, creating enough space between the cab of your truck and the trailer to permit less-restricted turning.

I installed the slider on the Reese 5th wheel puck system in my Ram 2500 short bed . I bought both the slider and the puck system from etrailer and I am greatly impressed with the quality of both systems . My greatest compliment goes to etrailer for their fantastic customer service . It rattles and clanks almost acts like it needs to be shimmed some how. If I had it to do over again I would’ve bought a better model. I don’t blame anybody for it I’m the one that ordered it was my mistake by going by price I should’ve paid more. Period.

We use our 5th wheel a lot and the Reese hitch we bought from etrailer has worked without any problems . The slide is perfect on my short bed Ram 2500.
