This was a very ez install do your homework and make sure the Head will fit on the upright leg's my draw Tite 16k legs 29" apart the Reese 20k just over 20+" look closely at the photos I have included. Looks to be a good upgrade. The first 20k head I received was Bent and not safe to use called etrailer and with NO hesitation I had a New replacement headed my way.
The absolute Best customer service I have worked with. Will report back after I make our first trip with it, towing a 32' Alpenlite 5th Wheel.
I worked with "Will" and "Kimberly" Great to work with.
1. First incident lead to our fifth wheel pin coming out of the hitch while towing. Granted, we did not have the padlock tab in place but that is no excuse for locking jaw to come open.
2. The hitch does not allow the pin to auto matically seat within the jaws unless someone is holding open the release lever.
The people at etrailer are the best!
This is a great product! This hitch head will be replacing the Pro Series 15k Hitch Head. The 15k has a slide latch to hold the King Pin in place, which also creates a lot of chucking. This 20k Hitch Head has a double jaw to lock the King Pin in place.
To make this perfect, it would need to have the jaws to automatically close when the King Pin slides into place.

This continues to do the job with no issues. The double jaws are great. The hitch head has no problems se using and towing a 18k trailer.
You had what I wanted in stock. Reasonable price and it was delivered in less than a week. That’s great.
Great price on the fifth wheel, I had to upgrade the head from 15,000 to 20,000 to pick up the new camper we purchase. I placed the order and within 3 hours they sent me the shipping info and it was on its way. It was packaged well also
Fifth wheel upgrade pn# 30118 was just what I needed ! It also came a day earlier than I expected ! Had tech questions answered and calls returned. That doesn't happen too often. Great job Etrailer !
Excellent fifth wheel..easy to use. 70# of iron and steel..used previous 16K mounting legs, fit perfectly.
Perfect fit to existing rails. Not as heavy as older 15k hitch
Much better than my old style head it is replacing. I ordered it on a Wednesday morning, got an email that afternoon that it was shipped, and received it on Friday.

The padlock tab does need to be in place over the handle otherwise it could be easy for that handle to get knocked out of place.
