What Can Help Me Fix the Lever Function on the Reese Square Tube Slider # RP30048?
Question:
Brand new slider will not slide with the trailer hooked up. With the trailer hooked up I can get it to slide with my hands hands but I have to rock it back and fourth a time or two then she goes. Lever is in correct position for it to maneuver

Typically this happens to the Reese Square Tube Slider for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30048 when there is a lack of lubrication on the jaws (the parts that hook onto the rails). They can use grease to spray the rollers, the top of the tubes, and the inside of the units themselves (the parts that look like towers).
