Which Height Setting Can't be Used On Reese Hitch When Using Slider Base

Question:

I have a Reese 30047 on a 30048 slider and would like to raise the hitch to the top holes, but the Kwik slide installation guide, page 5, step 5. has me concerned about this configuration. Can I use the bottom-most bolt holes on the head support? Here is what has me concerned: 5. Loosely assemble head support to 5TH WHEEL KWIK-SLIDE at desired height. Hardware will be staggered when assembled. see figure 10 Note: Bottom position may not be used on all hitch modelsinch Can you help clarify that Note: part? Does that translate to Dont use the bottom set of bolt holes on the head support? or does it mean Dont install the head support at the lowest position.? My 5er is a touch low in the front the truck is level and Id really like to raise the hitch if it is safe to do so. Also, I saw that the bolts should be torqued to 85 lb.ft. and I feel confident doing the adjustment myself. Im heading out the day after tomorrow if you can give me a quick thumbs up or down I would be grateful - thanks a bunch! PS - thanks for having the ability to send a picture!

Due to the slider mechanism you lose the ability to use the setting that would put the hitch in the lowest position when attaching a head to the Reese Square Tube Slider # RP30048. That shouldn't be a problem for you since you said you need to raise your hitch actually.
