Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at this Draw-Tite/ Reese Kwik Slide Replacement Handle. Now folks, today again, just a simple replacement part. It's a replacement handle for those Reese and Draw-Tite fifth wheel trailer hitch slider assemblies and it also fits the pro series slider unit. So folks, again, very simple. You got two pieces here.
They would line up, there's some holes here that line up. And then, when you got those holes lined up, the two pins and the roll pin would complete that install to keep everything tight, one unit when you're pulling it. This in here obviously is gonna go up inside of the head unit itself on your fifth wheel hitch. It's tapered to do so. And the other side here, it's got a nice foam handle, very nice to grip.
It's very ergonomic. I said foam, I guess it's more of like a, lemme pull it off here. It's more like a plastic, I'm gonna call it a plastic foam. But yeah, so it's got some give to it obviously. It's squishy and it's nice, comfortable, just slides on there.
Very simple design. Very nice ergonomically to use. (metal clanks) Again, you're getting the roll pin and the two cotter pins needed to complete the install. Ok, If etrailer.com has it, I will definitely order from them again. I don't think I have ever seen a large online company follow up and keep you informed as I have with them. I ordered a Reese, fifth wheel slider hitch handle and the manufacture had them on back order. I received an email every couple of weeks from etrailer notifying me that they were continuing to check on when the item was available. Their price was the best that I found and their customer service deserves 10/10...

OEM part in stock, best price and delivered timely
The slide handle was an exact replacement for my Reese hitch and slide. However, I do not understand eTrailer showing the product in stock and it taking 9 days from order placement to when they shipped it. Haven't had that sort of experience from eTrailer in the past...
It is a mystery to me how this took nearly a week to get to me. I ordered a hitch head and crossmember and got them within three days, this small handle took over a week to arrive. My project was delayed finishing because of this handle. I'm not upset mind you just bemused the one part I was required to pay shipping on took the longest to arrive.
I am pleased with the quality of the parts and everything went together well so no harm done.
This replacement handle for my Reese 16K Fifth Wheel was exactly what was required. The delivery was quick and the price competitive.
