We were first time camper people and new nothing about a 5th wheel. Thank goodness for etrailer's knowledgeable customer service! We didn't know what all we needed so we called. Good thing too because the things we thought we needed were wrong. We spoke with Josh and compared notes. Shipping was within one week!! Every single thing we needed was shipped to us and everything fit. I appreciate doing business with them.

by:

Quick delivery. Easy to deal with. Friendly, knowledgeable personnel.

After drilling 3 pilot holes and 1 drilled to 9/16 to fit my rails I found out all rails are not the same size. The instructions don’t have the rail dimensions, that would have help a lot. After getting the correct rails I set the rails to the 27 11/16” drilled a pilot hole and it was not in the right spot. I had to get under the truck and get a measurement from back of the bed to center of the bracket hole to get it in the right spot. The 27 11/16” was closer to 28” not happy with the dimensions matter of fact I’m pissed because I have extra holes in my 2020 Ram truck bed. As for the actual parts they seem to be well made.

by:

Fast shipping, best price and fast easy installation. The rails were a perfect fit for my 2020 chevy silverado 1500. Also had to use the outboard frame mounting kit that installs under the bed. All holes lined up perfectly and was no drilling into the frame.

Great hitch pulls my 16,000Lb camper smooth.

by:

The 48 in rails are actually deefer than the 43-inch rails that I've used previously they are American-made so I presume the steel is a better quality than Chinese stuff the only thing I would critique about is the horizontal holes for the pins to fit through could be a bit smaller so the hitch has less wiggle and rattle potential. I've toad trailers professionally before from the RV factories to the RV dealerships and the generic rails seem to work well for me even Towing the heavier triple axle beasts I even have a gooseneck ball adapter plate that I have used on the rails before and they also work perfectly I highly recommend this product and e trailer as their customer service is excellent

I recently purchased a new 2019 Ford F 150 Super crew pickup and needed to have a fifth wheel hitch installed to pull my 19' Scamp camper. With the newer aluminum bed of the pickup I was concerned with safety issues just bolting my rails to the bed and ordered the Reese 65034 Custom Quick Install Mounting Kit. I ordered it on Thursday just before lunch and it was delivered at noon on Monday fast service!
Opened the box and was very happy with the quality. I read the directions and realized that I needed the longer rails so I ordered them on Monday at lunch time and they arrive today Wednesday before 1:00pm simply amazing. The crazy thing is we live 37 miles south of the Canadian border in northern Minnesota. Having the install done on Monday and I can't imagine anything going wrong. Thank You so much!

Yes, we do have just the brackets available for your 2015 Ford F-350 that you can use with the Reese base rails, although the correct brackets are going to depend on which base rails you have because rails can be different lengths and will fit the brackets differently. • What Fifth Wheel Hitches Fit Reese Rail Kit part # RP30153
The Reese Fifth Wheel Rails part # RP30153 that you have are industry standard rails that will fit quite a few hitches on the market. They are compatible with Curt, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Husky, Reese and Valley 5th-wheel hitches. A very popular option I really like is the Reese Titan hitch # RP30047 as it has a cushioned head and a jaw system that wraps around the king pin for a secure connection.

  • Why are the Reese Outboard 5th Wheel Rails Taller than Regular Rails for a 2017 Ford F-250
The newer, taller rails such as those in 5th wheel installation kit # RP56017-53 for your 2017 Ford F-250 make it easier to pin in the hitch and work better for taller bed sides in newer trucks. The shorter rails such as those in kit # RP50074-58 are only available in the standard length. To compensate for the height difference you can lower the hitch (on most 5th wheel hitches) and/or raise the pin box on the trailer (if it is not already at the highest setting).

I reached out to my contact at Cequent, and they confirmed with me that # RP58058 and # RP30035 base rails are 43” long. So our bracket kit # RP50066 will work with them. The exception is the # RP30153 base rails, which are 48” long and can only be used with 56 series brackets.
