Rusts… I got this to replace the original because it was rusty. Now, a year later the new one is rusting. They should be made of fiberglass as most screens I have seen are. I gave the star because it is the same as the original.1277747

This is made of aluminum so it shouldnt be rusting. It would be very helpful to see photos of where the screen is rusting? The inside ring may not be aluminum.

Sorry to hear this. Maybe coating the screen with a rust inhibiting grease like a wd-40 rust inhibitor would keep rust away for longer.
