MaxxFan 2016 Keystone Montana Model 3710FL Won't Stop Running

Question:

Jon, I reinserted the fuse, and have the same condition. The fan runs at a high rate, but no control from the wall mounted control. The info on the fan is: MAXXFAN-SMOKE 4951KS S/N 2015-11-A4951KS-A00091

If your MaxxFan with the rain sensor, like part # MA00-04500K, starts operating automatically and the controller or the controls on the unit aren't working then that sounds like a bad circuit board or that the built-in safety feature for too much (or not enough) voltage was activated and the circuit board locked up. Since you already removed power from the vent try connecting it back to power. If it works properly then it was just locked up and needed to be disconnected from power to unlock the circuit board. If that doesn't work then something damaged the circuit board, like water, and it needs to be replaced.

For this roof vent, or parts # MA00-07000K and # MA00-07500K, the replacement circuit board is part # MA10A21275K. These are 10 speed fans though so I'd need to know the model number of your MaxxFan so I can ensure we get you the correct replacement circuit board.

Really the only other thing that would be wrong is if one of the buttons that controls the unit were messing up but it sounds like you've already done some basic troubleshooting so I would imagine you've already checked out the controls.

Let me know what unit you have and I can recommend the correct replacement circuit board for your application.

Thank you for that info. With that being the case this means you need to change out the circuit board and for your MaxxFan 4951KS you need the part # MA10A04751KS.
