Question:
Hello I have a max air fan model 7500. A the other day I went into trailer a the fan is on full blast. Lid closed. A nothing but killing the 12v power will stop it. The remote an all buttons on the unit do not beep or slot fan/raise lid. I was curious about what might be wrong with it. Iv reached out to max air. Nothing. Thanks sam

Hey Sam,
Typically if an RV vent fan is having issues it's going to be caused by your power and ground or a faulty circuit board. With yours running full blast randomly and the buttons not working the power most likely isn't the issue but it wouldn't hurt to check the voltage running to the power wire with a multimeter # PT89ZR to see if you're at 12 volts or if you're getting less or more, causing an issue for the circuit board. You should also verify that you have a good ground connection. If there's no issue with either then the circuit board is bad and needs to be replaced. If you remove your current one there should be a white sticker on it with a model/part number.
Your 7500 model will most likely need the # MA10A21275K but I'd like to verify first. You can see the sticker I was referring to in the picture attached of the # MA10A21275K.
