Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the Replacement Dacromet Mounting Bracket for the Kodiak disc brake caliper for the 3,500 pound axle. Now this caliper mounting bracket will mount to the brake mounting flange on your trailer axle, and it hold the disc brake caliper. It is a heavy-duty ductile iron construction. This one does have a dacromet plating on it to provide superior corrosion resistance for fresh water or salt water use. It does meet the 300 to 400 hour salt spray rating. It does use embossed bolt holes to provide extra thread contact for the caliper guide bolts and gives you a nice, tight secure connection between the bracket and the caliper.
It is a side support design to ensure that the load is carried by the bracket, not just the bolts. It does use stiffeners to reduce vibration when you break and this is a universal design, so it will work with either the left hand, or the right hand four bolt brake flanges.This part is made in the USA. Application, this is for calipers on disc brake assemblies with one piece hub and rotor assemblies. The axle rating they fit on is 3,500 pound axles. Rotor diameter that's used is 10 inches.
Brake flange configuration, we mentioned, is four bolts. Give you a few measurements on this. On the bolt pattern of the four bolts, if we go horizontal center to center is two and seven eighths inches. And then if we go vertical center to center is also two and seven eighths inches. And then the diameter of the large hole here that fits over the axle is going to be right at three inches in diameter.

KodiaK #CMB-10I(e-trailer #KCMB10HD) fits combined hub/rotor assemblies ONLY. Kodiak #CMB-10-UA (e-trailer #KCMB10RD) fits rotors that are separate from the disk.
The order and the reorder process was simple and easy as well as return process was easy I got my part.
What I find interesting is that this bracket does not contain a rather hold the caliper even though it looks exactly like the other brackets on the trailer and the caliper looks exactly like the other calipers on the trailer. So I adjusted the bracket to fit.
