Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the replacement stainless steel mounting bracket for the Kodiak disk brake caliper on 5,200 pounds and 6,000 pound axles. Now this caliper mounting bracket mounts to your brake mounting flange on your trailer axle, and it holds your disk brake caliper. This one is a stainless steel construction. It's very durable and rustproof. It does go through a 1000 hour salt spray rating. Does use the embossed holes at the top here to provide extra thread contact for your caliper guide bolts.

Gives you a nice tight, secure connection between the bracket and the caliper. Now this does offer side support to ensure that the load is carried by the whole bracket, not just the bolts. It has stiffeners to reduce vibration when you brake, and this is a universal design. It's designed to work with either left hand or right hand, five bolt brake flanges. This part is made in the USA application.Again, this is for calipers on disc brakes with over the hub rotors are one piece hub and rotor assemblies.
