Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we can take a look at this replacement stainless steel guide bolt for the Kodiak calipers on 9,000 pound and 10,000 pound axles. Now this guide bolt will attach your disc brake caliper to the caliper mounting bracket. This one is a stainless steel construction and it is designed to fit Kodiak disc brake calipers for axles that are rated at 9,000 pounds and 10,000 pounds. It will work on the Kodiak caliper models that are marked 338 on them and it works in all three finishes, dacromet, stainless steel and e-coated. If you notice on the end of the threads they do have threadlock already put on there, so when you do tighten this down, it'll lock it into place.

A few measurements on this, if we do the overall length from the one's end to the very end, three and three quarter inches. The length minus the head three and three 16ths inches and just the threaded portion right at seven eighths of an inch. Now the bolt thread on this will measure M11 by 1.5. That is a metric bolt which means it's 11 millimeter diameter and 1.5 millimeter between the threads. Now the head size on this is a half inch hex size externally so I happen to pull a half inch socket, and you can see how that will fit on there.

And then internally, it's a five sixteenths Allen size, and again, I pulled a five 16ths size Allen wrench. You can see that it'll fit right on the inside.
