Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at the replacement two piece Kodiak disc brake caliper mounting bracket for the 10,000 pound Dexter axle in the e-coat finish.Now, this bracket is a heavy duty ductile iron construction, does use an e-coat finish, which will provide corrosion resistance for freshwater and limited saltwater use. As I mentioned, you could see it as a two piece design, does use the embossed bolt holes to provide extra thread contact for your caliper guide bolts. It gives you a nice, tight, secure connection between the bracket and the caliper. Does offer a side support design to ensure that the load is carried by the bracket, not just the bolts, and the stiffeners will reduce the vibration when you brake.This is a universal design.

It is designed to work with either the left hand or right hand assemblies. You can see, we mentioned it's a two piece design.Few specs on this. The axle rating it fits is a 10,000 pound axle. The axle type, it is the Dexter general duty axle after May, 2013, that uses the oil bath hub, part number 008-430-03.
