This radial ply tire from Westlake is constructed with double steel belts and double polyester cords for increased durability. A protective later of nylon is wrapped around the steel belts to help prevent tread separation.
Unlike standard trailer tire tread, this deep, rugged tread channels water away so that the tire makes better contact with the road. This greatly improves traction during wet, snowy, or icy conditions. Because of this, the tire is specifically designed for off-roading on uneven terrain such as mud, sand, and grass, although it performs well on highways and other paved roads as well.
Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.

When it came time to replacing the tires, I knew which ones I wanted. Yes, they are pricier than others but they're great wearing, long lasting tires and worth it. I was amazed at how quickly etrailer.com got these to me, also. I've never does business with them before but I will in the future when the need arises.

A little pricey for a trailer tire, but excellent quality. The one we're replacing was under extreme stress due to a broken leaf spring while traveling down a freeway at 65mph but, while the tread was chewed up a bit, continued on with no problem.
Over priced but a match for the RV trailer. Great service as always!

Aggressive tread perfect for off-pavement and work great on-pavement as well. Purchased to replace the same original tires that came equipped on a 2020 R-Pod RP189 after one blew out on the freeway. The original tires were manufactured in 2018 and already 1.5 years old when the trailer was originally purchased new in 2020. These new tires from e-trailer were manufactured in June 2023 and are only 3 months old and will be good for 3 years. Check the date codes on your trailer tires.
Purchased these to replace existing Westlake tires on a 2021 No Boundaries travel trailer. The original tires performed well, so I found the same tires on eTrailer and ordered what I needed.

I was looking for this specific tire to replace the pair I had. The price was good, and I got free shipping that made the price a bargain. Delivery wasn't expected until Tuesday, but they arrived three days early.

After doing research I could have bought these tires so much cheaper somewhere else. The mark up on these was huge through etrailer which means probably everything else too so my business is done with them
A little expensive, but when your puling a single axel you need something you can trust, The treed life of this tire is unreal. Will buy again when needed .I liked the service of the reps at etrailer.

After a year has passed, Im still very happy with these tires and I would recommend them to anyone with a camper.
