Westlake Radials
This radial ply tire from Westlake is constructed with double steel belts and double polyester cords for increased durability. A protective layer of nylon is wrapped around the steel belts to help prevent tread separation.
The standard tread on this tire has solid, continuous ribs, and there are very few sipes (or thin grooves) cut into the rubber. This tire is designed for use on trailers, so it doesn't require the level of traction that would be needed on a vehicle that is braking or steering.
Radial Tires vs. Bias Tires
Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.

This is the second time I've purchased these tires from etrailer. The only reason I'm replacing two is due to an axle issue that caused the inside edge to prematurely wear out. These are easy to order and have a very quick delivery. I ordered them late (after hours on 4/22/2022. They were on my doorstep on 4/26/2022.

These are the strongest and best trailers tires I've ever owned!
I drive thousands of miles a year on rural dirt roads, and these are virtually indestructible. Running anything other than these tires is worthless.

My last tires from etrailer lasted 3 years of daily use. Although I have yet to put many miles on these I expect excellent results. Lisa D. guided me through the selection process. This Westlake model is a better fit (205) than my previous tire (215) yet offeres the same 8-ply & D load rating. My local stores still think they don’t make radial trailer tires! I can’t recommend etrailer highly enough!

The date code showed the tires were made almost 2 years ago. Since I replace tires at 6 years based on date code, not tread wesr, this was not acceptable. A return shipping label is being awaited.

Found a match for our existing trailer tires on the website and it was shipped out the next day. Had it at the house in just a few days. Also took advantage of a few other items to be eligible for the free shipping. Didn't know an anti-wobble receiver hitch device existed, I wish I would have found that years ago. Had a blowout on the 2 year old original tires that came on Bullet 248rks so I decided to replace all 4 tires with the Westlake Super ST. Had them mounted by a mechanics at a Mercedes dealership. He was impressed by the quality of the tires and I shouldn’t have any problems with these tires. And they look great also.

The tire was on backorder but eTrailer presented me other options for a faster delivery. Great communication from the seller! I mounted the tire at my local tire dealer and its all ready to go for a spare. 5 stars so far, but I can't rate the tire yet since its in my camper storage box waiting for use.

My camper had Westlakes on it when bought new, 5 years later I looked for an upgrade and all the "China Bomb" comments everywhere and even American had some negatives. I had no problem with my Westlakes for 5 years therefore I was my best reference and bought another set of Westlakes but moved up to D rated vice the C rated that came with the trailer. I have absolutely no complaints with these.

Hard to rate tires before they're installed, but the previous set of the same tires traveled well...no flats in 10000 miles. These arrived fast and are well packaged. Shipped two hours after I placed my order.
