Unlike standard trailer tire tread, which has solid, continuous ribs, the automotive-grade tread on these Provider radials has ribs with breaks. These breaks allow water to run off to the sides. The Provider tread also has sipes. Siping is a process in which thin grooves (or sipes) are cut into the rubber of the tire. The grooves channel water away from the tread so that the tire makes better contact with the road. Both of these features greatly improve traction during wet, snowy, or icy conditions.
Provider radials are constructed with double polyester cords and double steel belts for increased durability and endurance. A protective layer of nylon is wrapped around the steel belts to help prevent tread separation. Provider radials are bake tested - a process usually reserved for automotive tires - to ensure that the rubber holds up over time.
Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.

I just had the bearings repacked and the tires mounted on my 2017 Venture Sonic Lite. The ride is extremely smooth. I am looking forward to getting out on the highway for the first trip of the year! Great tires for my dump trailer
I thought the tires were as advertised and had no problem with delivery or
quality. These are used on my sixteen foot utility trailer hauling loads of hay, about
6,000 lbs No problems. Installed them on the wheels myself with my hand tire changer. Worked great..

I have purchased several products from Etrailer in the past & found their products and service to be very good. I recently ripped a sidewall on one of my dump trailer tires running over something at our local landfill. I found an EXACT replacement tire at Etrailer for a good price, free shipping, & fast delivery. I expect this tire to perform as well as the original tires that came with my dump trailer (in service 4 years, no problems) as it is an exact match.
Bought because of the previous reviews. Fast shipping of the tires. I just had the tires mounted and balanced but haven't used the 5th wheel yet. Tires look great with a nice tread pattern. Time will tell.
After one year and about 8,000 miles, I've been very happy with these tires on my travel trailer. They have a higher speed and load rating than the Goodyear Marathons that I had before and these seem to ride quite smoothly.

Like for like replacement tires on my trailer! My current set of tires have been all over the south east and have been a great set. Tire wear is minimal and good traction in all weather conditions. Throughout the first year of traveling with the Provider ST22575R15 mounted on my travel trailer, I have been impressed with the performance of the tires in wet or dry road conditions and the lack of tread wear. When the time finally comes to get new tires, I will once again purchase the Providers.
