Replacement jack fit and worked perfectly
Fast delivery

Jayco camper came with stabilizing jacks in the rear but none in the front. After wife complained that my walking around in the camper in the morning made the bed feel like a water bed I installed these jacks. They work perfect, easy and fast to deploy and camper is now solid when parked.

Jayco camper came without stabilizing jacks on the front of the trailer. these jacks work perfect, are strong and durable.

by:

Very solid and well built, exceeded my expectations. Mounted tonight and the camper is now solid as a rock when parked. It only had rear stabilizers previously and at 19 feet needed the stability in the front. Wifey says previously it felt like she was on a water bed when I was walking in the back. Not any more!

Working Perfect, keeps our trailer stable when we’re camping.

Hope you got the picture I attached to this review. The reason my husband purchased this scissor jack was to help lift our drift boat off the trailer to release into the water. This past week we were finally able to get the boat out on the water, and he was very happy with how it performed. My husband understands that this was not its intended use, but it worked fine (with some modification).

by:

Easy to install and does what it's supposed to do.

by:

Hit a chunk of Semi tire on my trip from Wisconsin to Texas.
It bent up the rear passenger stabilizer and the lead screw too. The damaged stabilizer was labeled "Model Number J-2500"

I ordered this unit and it only took about 10 minutes to swap out. This worked great, good price and fast delivery.
I will buy from this company again the next time i run something over!

by:

Nice and sturdy

by:

Quality part with fast delivery. I am very satisfied with my purchase. And I will buy again from a trailer. Greg.

by:

could have purchased for half price at harbor freight

by:

I ordered (4) 6500# rated jacks for our 33’ travel trailer which originally had flimsy 2500# rated jacks. The original jacks had some issues from the previous owner of the trailer and I am sure I made matters worse by not setting up correctly.
I went a little overboard on the new jacks because I want a much sturdier setup. Installation was a snap, probably took about 8 minutes per jack.
As usual, I received excellent service from etrailer including fast shipping and secure packaging.
Love doing business with these folks and I highly recommend that you give them a chance to serve your needs.

These jacks are working great. No issues at all.

by:

I bought this as a replacement jack for my Nissan Frontier. I love that it is a large jack and the spindle spins easily. I have not had to change a flat tire yet, but did check out the action. Hopefully this jack will last a long time due to its lifting capacity. Thanks to the folks at etrailer.com for coming through again. I have purchased different types of products from them over the past few years and have never been disappointed.

This scissor jack is meant for only for stabilizing despite their weight capacity and are not meant to raise a vehicle or trailer to change a tire. I recommend using a part like part # ALL620471 instead. I know it is more money however it is a safer to use.

by:

This worked perfectly and installed eas ily.

by:

Can't wait to install the new stabilizer jacks on my 2011 33 ft trailer. They look great.

Flawless

by:

The is exactly what I wanted low profile and very strong. The scissor jacks should stand up to the long exposures it will endure when installed. A little more expensive but we'll worth the expected longevity.
Much better built then the junk that came with our trailer.
Only pitfall with these units is they come without instructions regarding installation. If you have not got the ability to understand how to install without instructions want to check out the cost of installation for final purchase cost.

by:

These jacks were perfect with great weight performance and ease of lifting. The mounting pads are large with many mounting holes to choose from. These are the easy way to stabilize a 38' trailer without crawling underneath to place screw jacks. Now I just crank them down at setup and I'm done with easy adjusting during my winter stay.

by:

Bought 4, all working fine after 1 year. I might have got lucky with my Timber Lodge, but bolt pattern matched old jacks so I didn't have to weld/tap anything

Still good. No issues.

Great looking jack and very well built. I am very pleased with it's construction, and ease of use. I just wish I had the speed nut.

Still working great!

by:

I bought this jack for a Jayco Octane 222. It worked flawlessly. I was able to mount it without any modifications. You will need to supply your own bolts. One odd thing about the jack is it has a left hand thread screw, rather than right hand like most jacks, but that isn’t a big deal to me. I have used it heavily for about a year now and have had no issues with its performance.

by:

Product ordered works great. It would be helpful, however, if when
viewing the specific item being reviewed, the description also would indicate that this item provides universal applications. I didn't know if it would fit my specific travel trailer until I actually received the item and attempted to install.
Great response time from time of order to receipt of product. I like also having a phone number provided so personal contact is available.

by:

Excellent quality jack. Great price, excellent price, and supper fast delivery, what more could a guy want.

great jack and a great price works out well very happy

by:

so far so good.
They look sturdy and
heavy duty.
I am anxious to try them out on my motor home.
I am little disappointed that they are not strong enough to actually jack up the vehicle, but I will use my old hydraulic jack and support with your scissor jacks.

by:

Jack fit perfect, much stronger than the
original one that came on travel trailer.
Very satisfied with this jack.

by:

Scissor Jack got damage returning from camping. Ordered a new one from etrailer and it arrived in 2 days. Great service and the price was reasonable compared to others I looked at on the Internet.

by:

These work some much better than the original stabilizer jacks. The smooth fast operation makes it quick to get set up and stabilized.

by:

I recieved this stabilizer jack faster and cheaper than if I would have driven to the RV dealer.
The quality is much better than the factory jacks that came with my 27 foot Summerland Trailer
Wish I had 3 more to put on

  • Lube Recommendation for the Ultra-Fab 24 inch Ultra Scissor Jack
My recommendation for lubrication of the worm gear assembly on the Ultra-Fab Ultra Scissor Jack, # UF48-979006, would be to use Marine Trailer Wheel Bearing Grease, # L54FR. These are 3-3oz cartridges made to use with a grease gun like # L30-132-07 to apply the grease. You can use it out of the tube without a grease gun if you wish. The reason I recommend using a marine type of grease is that it resists moisture better than standard grease and will help prevent corrosion of the worm...

  • Do Mounting Plates of Stromberg Carlson or Ultra-Fab Scissor Jacks Remain Level When Jack is Raised
As the jacks are raised an lowered, the upper mounting plate are designed to remain level. As you can see from the photo I edited, the ends of the jack uprights have gears or teeth built into them so that the mounting plate remains level. The Stromberg Carlson Jack, part # JSC-24-IND operates the same way.

  • Determining The Correct Manual Stabilizing Jacks For 2012 Fun Finder 21 S/C
To determine which manual stabilizing jack will work for your 2012 Fun Finder 21 S/C you will need to determine how much lift you need for the jack to work properly. To do this you will want to measure from the bottom of your trailer's frame to the ground. If you get a measurement less than 24" the Ultra-Fab Ultra Scissor Jack - 24" Lift - 6,500 lbs # UF48-979006 would be a great choice as it offers up to 24" lift to stabilize your trailer. • Can Ultra-Fab Ultra Scissor Jack # UF48-979006 Be Used in Multiples to Level a Trailer
Yes, the Ultra-Fab Ultra Scissor Jack # UF48-979006 that you referenced can be used in multiples to level and stabilize a trailer. This jack welds or bolts (with hardware you supply) on to your trailer or RV frame. As long as these jacks' 6,500-lb capacity is adequate for your trailer or RV you can use a set as you describe. Please note that these jacks are designed to stabilize, but not to support the full weight of a trailer.

  • Can Ultra-Fab Stabilization Jack Be Used to Jack Up 3/4 Ton Truck
The Ultra-Fab Scissor Jack # UF48-979006 that you referenced is strictly designed as a stabilization mechanism for trailers only. This jack mounts to the underside of the trailer and then drops to hold the trailer in place to prevent rocking. My technical contact at Ultra-Fab told me that the term -jack- is an industry term for a variety of items that do not necessarily raise a vehicle, but all have a similar look such as automobile scissor jacks and trailer stabilization scissor jacks. There are no brackets that are offered separately for the Ultra-Fab Ultra Scissor Jack - 24" Lift - 6,500 lbs # UF48-979006. They are only included with the jacks, so if you are in the need of new brackets, you will need to get a new set of jacks. • Can an Ultra-Fab Leveling Jack be Used to Change a Tire
We have better options because leveling jacks like the Ultra-Fab # UF48-979006 shouldn't be used to raise a vehicle. They're only for stabilizing despite their weight capacity. Instead you want something like the Powerbuilt bottle jack, part # ALL640405. It has plenty of capacity at 4,000 pounds and is for raising a vehicle like your X5 to change a tire.
