Scissor Type Stabilizer Jack for Travel Trailer
Question:
Could someone give me a comparison between C Arm and Scissor Jacks. I am trying to upgrade my Travel Trailer so that it has better Stability and ease of leveling. Does one hold up better than the other? Thanks

We can help you with stabilizer jacks for your travel trailer to help keep it steadier while you're inside. They key is matching the jacks to your trailer's weight load and the amount of height adjustment you need.
Scissor type jacks offer a convenient and low-cost way to do this and you can see these on the linked page. I am sorry but I am not sure what you mean by c-arm jacks.
For a smaller trailer the Ultra-Fab Stackable Stabilizers # UF48-979004 are a nice option. These DO NOT require permanent installation; they simply stow until you reach your destination and set up camp. They extend 6-inches, from a height of 11-inches up to a height of 17-inches.
If you want a permanent install item and/or you need more lift you might prefer the scissor jack kit # TJSCHD-24 which offers 18-3/4-inches of lift and that installs using self-tapping screws # FA1131822 or by welding.
