Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the fifth airborne sidewinder customer wedge for the RBW fifth wheels. Now, a fifth wheel wedge is a simple but reliable way to allow a fifth wheel hitch to be used with a fifth wheel sidewinder pinbox. This custom wedge here will bolt in place with a universal wedge on the pinbox, provides a new pivot point for the kingpin and a wider turn radius for the fifth wheel trailer.So, to keep the pinbox from swiveling at the fifth wheel hitch head, the custom wedge on the pinbox will insert into the hitch head and it locks the pinbox into place. Since the pivot point is then moved towards the rear of your tow vehicle, you can easily make 90 degree turns, even with a short bed truck.Now, this fifth wheel wedge is designed to fit the RBW fifth wheels and accommodates the sidewinder, or fifth airborne sidewinder pinboxes. The finish on this is a durable, carbide black, powder coat finish to resist corrosion.
