Does the Wedge for the Sidewinder Need To Be Adjusted Each Time

Question:

I watched the video for sidewinder installation and saw where you make the wedge adjustment. Do you make this adjustment every time you hook the trailer up? Or is this just a one time adjustment?

In regards to installing a wedge on the Sidewinder 5th Wheel King Pin with Rotating Turret like part # RP34FR, this will only need to be done one time for each hitch. It may be a good idea to check the torque on the bolts every so often but adjustments don't need to be made each time you coupler the trailer assuming you are using the same 5th wheel hitch.

If the RBW Lil Rocker that was attached is what you will be using with the Sidewinder then you will need to use a custom wedge, the 5th Airborne Custom Wedge for RBW Fifth Wheels part # SWW-07, not the universal one that is included with the Sidewinder.
