Replacement Wedge for Reese Revolution/Sidewinder Rotating 5th Wheel Pin Box  

Question:

My wedge is showing wear at the king pin. Should I replace it?. It is on a cherokee artic wolf 305 ML6. Thanks.

If the wedge on the Revolution is showing wear, it's definitely a good idea to replace it, as it could allow some side to side movement of the pin box at the king pin which is undesirable. This usually occurs when a universal wedge is used. They fit fairly well, but because they don't completely conform to the hitch funnel in the skid plate, wear can occur over time.

The wedges are hitch specific, the exact wedge needed will be determined by the 5th wheel hitch you're using.
